ParanoidObsessive 01/01/25 1:03:27 AM #21:	Not only am I not excited about any games that are coming out in 2025 that I know of, but the few games I was at least mildly interested in have now mostly disappointed me to the point where I assume they're going to be terrible. I'm at the point where I don't consider getting hyped for new games in advance to be a sane and rational response, because very few new games ever deserve it. You can't even judge the potential quality of new games based on the previous games a given studio has released, because most major studios these days seem to constantly be finding all new ways to trip over their own dick and ruin their past reputation overnight. Not helped by how many studios seem to be in "Ship of Theseus" situations, where almost none of the people who worked their to make a studio popular are still there now. The established brand name doesn't really mean much if the people hiding under it are mostly inept newbies with little worthwhile experience and even less in the way of tangible credits.
