I do think Teddy still has a couple of decent non-starter years left in him, and you could do a lot worse for a backup. Chances are he won't have to play, but he's just "not bad" enough that he still gives them a chance to win, and it's certainly better than gambling on someone who almost certainly won't be ready for it. Best case scenario is actually the one I'm picking. I have the Lions clinching the 1 seed this week as Green Bay goes to Minnesota and knocks them out. This allows them to start (at pr least play) Hooker for the last game, but still have a more viable backup for the playoffs.
