I am confident that Mahomes, Kelce, and Chris Jones all dont play. I would guess we'd try to have our linemen play as little as possible. and everyone else with a hint of an injury sits.

There is no reason to risk Mahomes if you are only going to play him a quarter, especially when you are playing a divisional rival playing for the playoffs

I do wonder if they try to play them for like a series or two simply because that'd be a lot of time off otherwise with the abnormally early Week 17 on Wednesday, resting for Week 18, and then the bye. It'd be like three-and-a-half weeks between games for them if they sat Week 18.

Not to be obnoxious, but I really dont think most Chief fans are afraid of Burrow to the point that they would only rest guys to knock them out. They have 1 win against us in the playoffs.

If anything, we want them to make the playoffs so they would play Buffalo in that 2-7 game and try to eliminate the one team thats beaten us in the literall last 365 days

Nagy was shit, but in his defense, he was Andy Reid's OC, which basically meant he barely did anything. Ben Johnson has multiple years of actual playcalling at an extremely high level.

That said, the only proof that the Bears will treat an offensive minded HC well would be to give them another chance with one lol

Bills say Josh Allen will start to keep his consecutive starts streak alive but he'll be out of the game soon thereafter, meaning he's probably only playing one drive, maybe two

So it's good the Lions have a meaningful game next week so I can start Goff

It then incentivizes the Steelers not to play all of their guys or care about winning (Steelers aren't going to care about whether they play Houston). I can only think this is the league intentionally meddling to help the Bengals win since KC has nothing to play for against Denver, so this is there way of creating some manufactured sense of drama.

I'd say the Bucs are scarier than the Rams, they're just wildly inconsistent.

The Rams are more likely to go on a run but the Bucs have a higher per-game ceiling.

And yeah, I can see the loser of Vikings/Lions going out of the playoffs in round 1. Unlike the AFC where the 4 seed is a joke, you really don't want anything to do with the NFC division winners. Washington's not beating any of them.

Why wouldn't they care? Playing Houston is the easy playoff path that gives you a real shot at the AFC championship game.

The gulf between Bills/Ravens and Houston is enormous.

Steelers aren't afraid of the Ravens. They know they can beat them.

Still, you'd rather play Houston.
