Danger (ARM Version) Evergreen Dragon Valley When I first listened to Specimen of Life precontest I did not like it. I think because I was expecting it to be another fairytale-like song like Moonlight Concert and was taken aback by how rhythm-gamey it was instead. Of course, I know its wrong to judge a song for not being like another one or one you imagined it would be, but I still do fall into that trap sometimes. Anyway, all of that is to say that now I like it, match 3 is the hardest in the contest so far and Ive been wavering on my choice for hours now. Previously, I didnt properly appreciate everything the vocals are doing, while now some of my favorite parts are the short punchy choral phrases like at 1:02-1:03 and 2:14-2:16, and, even more so, the runs of noises like from 1:48-1:58. Also, the section right after that with the violin into guitar into the chorus is really good too and makes me want even more instrumental sections like that in the song. Okay I have to vote now or else Im going to flip again.
