Battle Against a True Hero Untamed Heart Mayan Oh, I'm loving the sample heavy tone of this. What a inspiring combo, the singing, the drilling/hammering noises and that one Kirby inhaling sound. The tone is also pretty fun to listen while also keeping that veil of mystery. This is just superb stuff, the vibe is immaculate, it's reminding me of how much I liked Prontera Field. I know Silent Hill never sounds like a horror game at this point, but I dig this to a big degree. That being said, Remodelling is here against one of my favorite Undertale songs. The fantastic piano intro, the exciting drop, the feeling of being against a formidable rival that won't hold back! The motifs works so absolutely well. Also the ZUNpets part hits like a truck as well... ah, what to pick, what to pick? These are both jackpot winners, and yet I feel I should leave a vote. Hmmm... Ack, Undyne time. But I want either of these to crush the path to finals, like come on. This is the cream of the crop. The intro of Untamed Heart feels to me like Anistar City turns into Touhou 17 turns into Klonoa, and that is big time cool. The rest of the song is really cool, being this mix of relaxing and fascinating, which I'm sure I've heard in some specific games before. I'm kind of struggling to put to pen what I like about it musically, but on short I think the different melodies while the song keeps the structure is just great! Everything feels curious and interesting. Nice job. Hello Trails to Azure... Hm, there's something about this strings or just the mixing in general that makes it difficult to sink my teeth into this song. I'm trying really hard to see if something attracts me, but I guess it just doesn't, it feels par for the course for Falcom. It's really weird cause there's nothing wrong with the song... ack, I think UH is more interesting anyways. I'll take that. Hey look, it's my only support on this bracket. This is like the only theme that popped when I played on default, so I've listened to this track more than enough. Let me tell you, the Tom Scream on this is my favorite part. Other than the tribal-esque samples, this is a really cool track, the main melody is fun and the distinct sections of DnB add a layer of intrepidness. I think it kind of keeps you on the edge of your seat trying to score block after block, and that's very good for me. So against it we have... Shikata. Whew, it's quite good! The piratey-sounding (are they 6/8?) parts are fun and I like the vocals. I think the song in general does fun stuff, specially when it drops and it gets danceable. I think if this is meant to be European-inspired, I'm feeling it. I think I still feel more attachment for Mayan to vote it, but my Shikata bias liked Turii, nice job. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Battle Against a True Hero Untamed Heart Mayan Battle Against a True Hero blew my mind when I first heard it almost a decade ago. One of my favorite big climactic battle themes. Many times I have tried to simulate an actual loop of this song by hitting replay immediately. Lousy Toby Fox and his awful non-looping soundtracks. Today also has Untamed Heart, a song I thought about nominating but chose not to. Then somebody else wound up offering it up, and I hopped aboard the Klonoa train. Untamed Heart Mayan I prefer battle against a true hero but I'd honestly prefer remodeling winning? I'm #quirky like that. remodeling is rlly cool, altho I wish it had a bit more to it in parts. still, adding more to it prob defeats its purpose so mad at match 3. so mad. both amazing songs. why do I have to chooseee. oh wait I thought I liked panta rhei more than I did. the Celtic solos r fucking amazing but otherwise not as into it as I remembered :p choice made easier. altho panta rhei feels like a song that will inevitably grow on me far more and I will regret this decision later --- Be formless, shapeless... like water. ... Remodeling Untamed Heart Mayan Remodeling has a weird little mood to it. It works for me. 6.5/10 I've never liked Battle Against a True Hero very much. I don't think the instrumentation sounds very good and I think the composition is one of the weakest in Undertale. Never understood what people see in it. 4/10 Untamed Heart is very pleasant. 7/10 I am, as a matter of fact, capable of fathoming this force 6/10 Mayan is pretty neat. 7/10 I see we couldn't go a whole day without having at least one epic choir 5.5/10 ... I will try to write more elaborate commentary later when I get more time, but for now, I'll just give a one-word description on each song: Silent Hill 4: The Room - Remodeling: uhhhh, what kind of song is this? I guess the clanging noise in the back fits the song title because if you're remodeling, you might have to build some new areas of the building or whatever, but it still hurts to listen to. And the melody, good geez what is the instrument leading the song? I really hate how it sounds. Yeah, maybe this works decently in context, but wow this sounds bad out of context at least to me, sorry. 3.5/10 - would be a 3, but the assumption is that it works well in the context of the game so I guess I have to give partial credit back for that. Undertale - Battle Against a True Hero: I remember when Klaj used to (and still does!) play this on piano back when Undertale first came out. Good times! I love the melody a lot in particular. Really solid song that has always been among my favorites from the game. 8.5/10 Klonoa: Door to Phantomile - Untamed Heart: Cute song. Not a lot else to say about this one. 6.5/10 The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure - Unfathomed Force: This is quite epic! I love the air of mystery this piece has to it, and parts of it even remind me of Castlevania music (especially around the 2 min mark) which is always a plus. 7.5/10 The New Tetris - Mayan: Uh, yep. This sure exists. It's not exactly bad, but I wouldn't really call it good either. It's too weird for my tastes, but it doesn't really annoy me either. Nice percussion work though. 5/10 beatmania IIDX 16 EMPRESS - Turii Panta rhei: I really love the Celtic feel to this song. Really solid. 7.5/10 Somewhat decent day.
