Bitto 06/02/24 8:24:05 PM #1:	Which Ema do you like more? - Results (25 votes) Younger Ema (AA, AAI, AAI2) 52% (13 votes) 13 Older Ema (AJ, SOJ) 48% (12 votes) 12 Rules: Rate each character on a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. Anything above 10 gets rounded down to a 10, and anything below a 1 gets rounded up to a 1. Anything beyond one decimal point will be rounded accordingly: .04 and below will be rounded down, .05 and up will be rounded up. You may grade on any criteria you like. Consider the character's appearances throughout the entire Ace Attorney series. You can rate characters from previous topics if you miss a topic. On a day with multiple characters, clearly label which rating applies to which characters. On a day with multiple characters, you may skip a character to rate. Pretty much every character from Ace Attorney will be rated. The schedule will go in chronological game order in the West (with AAI2 being right after AAI just for consistency). When a character debuts and gets a major speaking role, they will show up (so Trucy appearing for a moment in 4-1 doesn't count as a 4-1 character). Major characters get their own day and minor characters are all ranked at once. All extremely minor characters (background, animals, mascots, and jury) will be rated on the final day. Client, sister of Lana Skye. Profile (Conclusion): [6-6] A detective with a love of science. She's finally achieved her dream of becoming a forensics investigator. My rating: 8.5/10 Younger Ema is good. She's the first Maya clone, but she is likable enough. Her gimmick goes well with Phoenix and her Edgeworth fanboyism is pretty good too. Defending her on the final trial day is strong. I have no idea what to make of Investigations Ema and I don't think the writers did, either. Older Ema was a bit difficult to take in at first. It felt like a continuation of a joke being played on the AA fans by having the only notable AA return be perpetually gloomy about her life. It's funny and Ema's one of the better AJ characters, but it's also sad. SOJ Ema feels like the right match of optimistic, but still prone to the small, annoying things in life. Grumpy Ema is fantastic though. One of the best things AJ did. Part of why 1-5 is one of the greats. She's kind of just there in the Investigations games, but there's nothing at all about her character that ruins her past appearance. Older Ema is mostly good. The sunshine child to jaded adult pipeline is unfortunately all too real and I like how she regains some of her past hope as we go along. I do have some small nitpicks, I suppose.
