I mean, you do have to draw a line somewhere. Though I'm not sure why the line for creepy is 18 when the majority of the planet sets the line for legal at 16. You'd think those would be the same line one way or the other, no?

I don't think being grossed out by a guy who's nearly 40 dating a girl fresh out of (or potentially still in) high school is infantilizing women.

CE is largely ok with this. Its been well established time and time again through various topics. Basically as long as its legal because the kid is of the age of consent they think its totally fine.

Topics like these always make me remember that CEman from way back who bragged about fucking 16 year olds all the time despite being 38 because that's the legal age in his country, rather than being grossed out then CE used to ask for stories about his escapades

Ive said this numerous times, but just because something is legal doesnt mean its moral. Im 29 and the thought of dating even an 18 year old is repulsive to me

Anyone in the 30s who dates someone in high school is a fucking creep. I don't give a shit what the law is. You don't need to be a convicted criminal to be a creep or an asshole. Most of both are those are law-abiding citizens.

16 is age of consent in most states. Despite the legality of it if some dude in his 30s or 40s tries getting with my 16 or 17 year old daughter, well I cant say what Id do to him but I guarantee I wouldnt just shrug it off and be like I better stop clutching my pearls. Guarantee Id put an end to it.. So many people on CE support some disgusting stances. Hell I think its creepy if you are even 24 or 25. If youre old enough to be graduated from college you shouldnt be going after high school girls.
