Damn you ninjaing me on Isquen, ctes

Because Isquen also elaborated on FD's flavor question, I want to say that I'm very confident some scum threw in an answer there.

Id like more pressure on Isquen. Quick breakdown of non-fluff posts:

1.098 - Comments on Ultis claim by saying it smells like either please dont watch me while I do something bad or Im bored let me get some attention before I start vote roulette

Hes just given a motive if Ulti is scum vs town. Not considering which alignment ulti is.

1.290 - I share my flavor being literal mafia.
1.304 - Isquen posts a joke
1.306 - I ask Isquen how he feels about the game
1.316 - Isquen votes me for claiming literal mafia

Why didnt Isquen vote me or even ask me to share more detail about my role in post 1.304? Basically order of events here is I say Im mafia flavor, Isquen posts a joke, I ask Isquen for substance, then he votes me for a post I made before he posted a joke. Seems like just wanting to get a vote on the board.

To be fair I brought up the first thing in topic1 with Isquen and he answered that by saying 'Oh I was calling both things bad for town'. Though in hindsight I dont know what he is saying that he thinks Ulti actually is.

In general I feel like Isquens been lazy-voting more than actual-voting.

Sure you can have my support for now, the rest of the list takes longer to look at.

I am curious why Isquen picked to vote Kirby of the 'two inactives'

1.336 - Votes ulti for claiming something that was on the last game list. The idea to see if there were any other claimed repeats was good. Voting ulti and immediately acting like it was suspicious when only a few people had claimed, seems a bit odd to me.

1.404 - FD mentions inactives
1.416 - Asks who the inactivates are besides himself then votes Kirby for inactivity. This was Isquens 9th post, definitely better than no posts at the time for Kirby, but still an odd reason to vote someone on d1 when Isquen thinks of himself as inactive

Best direction at the moment, imo. If anyone feels Isquen is town I want to hear it of course.

Yes I saw you bring it up on re-read. He responded by calling your valid point (imo) a really weak jump on which came across defensive to me. You didnt rally others to vote Isquen or even vote yourself, just raised the question. This was in 1.308.

I kinda lost track of how Ulti/Sbell got narrowed down away from your list there, Ctes.

Reading over their claims, it just doesn't seem the thought process is scummy, this is in particular true for SBell. For Ulti also, most the time the weird early claims happen and doesn't fully make sense, they end up being towny. I've no interest right now in pressuring any of those five claims or half-claimed I mentioned.

I know Isquen has been an early target for inactivity before, but I dont think its fair to say oh theyre lynching Isquen again. This is different imo because Isquens content actually looks bad to me. Its not like he posted twice and getting voted for being afk.

isquen is clearly attempting to seem engaged with the game (ulti commentary, casting three votes) but I dont think its genuine curiosity. Hes asked one real question, who is the most inactive besides himself, then voted for Kirby.

I dont have the time to check but I bet 10 posts is a lot more than we normally get from Isquen at this point

Now Lea unlike the first two has been around, but stands out extremely little aside from memes and jokes. She jumps on the trains, but doesn't make them. She has cleared a few people though. Could be scum Lea doing a lot to drive the topics and be quite active without actually doing anything. Could of course also be town Lea who doesn't know where to go yet. So let's hear it, where to go? Perhaps give like a some pool of options.

I'm trying to look past that Lea made the first topic a lot more fun.

i barely even remember his posts tbh besides trying to make a couple jokes so Id have to look at them tonight to know if thats even the case, just feels bad and boring to watch the same thing play out and have isquen die day 1 just because of his playing style

Isquen getting pressured has lots of time lead to him doing some towntells I've caught on to, of course I usually don't get listened to, but that's not on me. Regardless, him having a track record for d1 lynched is unfortunate but not a reason to not lynch scum.

Red's most noticable thing is confidence about roles not being in the game and his claim which I'm honestly not sure wasn't simply done to get people to shut up. He seems to have attempted to solve although he somewhat stopped after getting a large poe. Nothing I feel clears him but I'm less interested in going after him that the others.

If I cleared anyone too easily, Ben is also a good bet, he's a great player and could've put up a good and correct analysis to look better. Not the lead today, but I thought I just had.

You're right that Isquen has absolutely nothing to his posts, and that's scummy. But Chang is also correct that Isquen is Mr boring false positive machine. So. I dunno.

Chang comes in just before I got to him and in advance correctly points out he has little activity. I think he was the first to defend JC, that being the most noticeable thing. Reasoning was good, of course scum seeing a chance to look good by defending pushes like that aren't uncommon. I'm surprised this tiny little push on Isquen was what he chose to comment on now unless that was just conincidental timing and he isn't caught up. Considering it was two votes which we talked about how that was nothing on JC, it doesn't look great imo. There was like nothing yet to defend.

We can jump here instead for sure but I was hoping to get some Isquen posts first. Especially because it doesn't sound like we're seeing chang for a while anyways.

Id tend to assume Ben wouldnt want to town clear 2 people to establish credibility for himself. When i was scum with him he wanted to play a lot more fast and loose and argue with a bunch of people.

if scum there may be some kind of trick to it rather than being straight good analysis like were all seeing (e.g. one of them also might be scum)

Chang did a bit more than I remembered. I dont think Chang is definitely town but I dont have a big problem with Chang at the moment either. Though I agree with ctes his randomly popping in to say I dont want to lynch Isquen, too boring! strikes me as odd given he has not been super active either.

I don't feel like lynching Isquen and would rather lynch Wallz or Ctes now

I don't think so either, which I why I took him off, but to almost cite an argument he made himself, I give his scum more credit than clearing him for that.

Alright Chang doesnt want to lynch Isquen because its too boring and familiar. Lea doesnt want to lynch Isquen because its annoying. Lopen doesnt want to lynch Isquen for reasons unspecified and instead, me and ctes should be lynched for ??? suspecting Isquen?

I'm trying to figure out if scum chang jumps in to stop Isquen push for meta reasons if isquen is also scum. Initial thought is no unless Isquen is a very valuable role, but thinking more about it gives me doubts on that.

I agree that even if Isquen is scum rb or some other valuable role, another scum sticking their neck out is less likely. Granted that is a good defense for a scummate actually doing it, but alas

Right now im less concerned with the alignment of people against the Isquen lynch and more concerned with their reasons

At least 3 people oppose the lynch. Whether all, none or somewhere in between are scum, weve yet to see a single person give a good reason for opposing it. Thats what Im looking for and no one seems to have it. I am not committed to the lynch Im looking for someone to talk me out of it.
