You are a young musician from Brazil and quickly went through schooling in your early years, being vaguely somewhere on the autism spectrum - you were bullied a bunch as a child, as you always found puzzles easier to figure out than people. You were, however, extremely close with your sister Thalita, and as you grew up, she guided you through social situations and gave you a purpose in life - initially encouraging you to practice as a musician, where you learned through charity performances that helping people was its own reward.

Eventually, Thalita and you started a kite-fighting business, and during the nighttime cleanup from a debut tournament you two hosted, Thalita noticed - and took down - a mechanical drone with her kite, and both crashed in the forest bordering the tournament site. You went to look for the kite and drone and happened across a panicked man in the forest pleading for help. In front of you, the man perished as two long blades pierced through his torso, slicing your arm. Thalita arrived then and urged you to run, as the owner of the drone, a tall woman with a diamond-studded facemask and the blood from the freshly gutted man staining her body, gave chase. Blindly you kept up with your sister as you ran to a... beach? Thalita called it a beach? All you saw was the treeline melt away to a strange factory with some black fog, and you were separated.

Reliant: You are wholly reliant on Thalita to navigate trickier situations in life. If Thalita's player is eliminated, you are no longer able to vote unless the game is at MyLo/LyLo. Your Neurodivergent trait is also neutralized.

Neurodivergent: You find puzzles easier to understand than people. At night, you may target a player with an action. You are able to determine any actions taken by or taken against that player, but not who performed them. You will also appear on this as "Someone was tracking motion."

Much like what happened with the poor cat, the hook clatters to the ground and the body transforms, this time into a much smaller shape. PeaceFrog was also...

VICTOR DESHAYES - SOLO QUEUE Regenerator Twin Bonded.
You are a stunted, gremlinesque living corpse of a small teenage boy, often mistaken for a baby when in motion. You and your conjoined twin sister Charlotte have led a hard life - your mother Madeleine was a kindly soul, but was burned at the stake for witchcraft after years of hiding you under Charlotte's clothing. The angry mob sold you to a cult worshipping the Entity, and after a time, they attempted to ritualistically slaughter you both. You screeched and knocked a candle off an altar, causing a terrible fire which your sister escaped, but you perished from the smoke and flames.

Your sister, against all laws of biology, fled with your body intact but dead in her breast. She subsisted on a life of vagrancy, hiding your corpse beneath more scraps of stolen clothing and murdering for food and shelter where she could, with a stolen farmer's sickle in hand.

On one frozen night when hypothermia and starvation began to take your sister, the cult's power took effect: you suddenly awoke from death, and, with a sickly wrenching noise, detached from her now-exposed ribcage. Out of more curiosity than horror or pain, she followed you into a black fog that appeared from nowhere, where you two had the familiar comfort of a purpose in life - to hunt those that shunned you.

Regenerator: If you, as Victor, are eliminated while Charlotte's player still lives, your flip will not post and you will be considered as "dead" for the following day or night phase as appropriate. The game will be notified of your death and revival, but not any other information. You may not post in topics or take actions during the time when you are "dead" or you will be removed from the game. For the purposes of this trait, you are not considered to be Victor until the beginning of an even day, and remain so until the night phase of an even day ends.
Twin: You are inextricably linked to your sister. If Charlotte's player is killed at any point during the day or night while they are is Charlotte, you will also be killed and unable to regenerate, and your flips will be posted as normal. If Charlotte's player was killed as Thalita, you lose access to your Regenerator trait, but may still vote and use your Mason chat.
Bonded: By your very nature of being a conjoined Twin, you have access to a private Mason Discord chatroom with Charlotte's player (monitored by the Host/any co-hosts.) Both of your Killer and Survivor roles will be visible to each other. Access to chat in this Discord is removed during Thalita/Renato day, but remains open if one of you is dead.

As the Fog parts on the never-ending night and players become their alter-egos, tiny motes of blue light begin to appear with humming noises. A moment passes, and a slender chain launches out of the light, striking at a nearby player. Looks like it's time to run or suffer.

A Chain Hunt has begun! The chains will continually harass ALL players until someone locates The Box. What does this mean?
- Most active abilities are automatically blocked.
- Most passive abilities are deactivated.
- Votes may not be removed or moved once cast.

The Box will make its presence known at a later time. The Chain Hunt will only end under certain circumstances, or until the end of Night 2, whichever comes first. If the day ends before The Box makes itself known, it will make its presence known during the night, though the Hunt will continue.

With 15 players alive, a majority of 8 votes is necessary to condemn a player. Day 2 will end on Saturday, November 4th at 9:00 PM Eastern (48 hours from now.)

I already was second guessing my reading you as town but I thought you know what sbell is probably just busy and hell get with the program d2. But now I feel like you just rolled scum, AGAIN. Somehow. You have done nothing all game.

Identity sounds like your name and possibly traits if I had to guess, rather than getting full detail on how any night actions if you have them would work . It sucks you werent told exactly how much mafia knows because that is exactly how much you should tell town.

ok hello everyone

unfortunately i have been a bit busy over the last few days and have only loosely followed the game thus far. i'm around early topic 2 in a reread thus far but some of this is like straight up pulling teeth to read so we'll see how long it takes me to catch up or how much i have to skip for my sanity. if someone wants to summarize the big events or whatever i should actually read carefully that would be really helpful so i don't skip something important by mistake.

are there any hanging questions left for crescent / now me after yesterday?

and for what it's worth you should for all intents and purposes assume that i do not share any of crescent's opinions or views on the game.

i have absolutely no clue what the nonsense she was posting about not understanding what traits were or whatever was about, because it's very clear to me. most likely it's because she doesn't read opening posts or anything from the hosts except flips (i got mad at her in elden ring for not reading Corrik's poems, i remember).

just off of topic 1 i am feeling good about sultan and fairly good about JC but not sure if it's in his scum game to say like "yeah i never rolled scum i forgot it's even on discord" but thinking not

Like Dead By Daylight's Pig Killer, Hellraiser's Pinhead has an additional object that will spawn on the map at the beginning of the match. The Lament Configuration puzzle box will activate a Chain Hunt, which summons interdimensional chains to hunt Survivors. Players must pick the box up and solve the puzzle to deactivate Chain Hunt completely. Unfortunately, players carrying the Lament Configuration puzzle box will suffer from the Oblivious status effect. Unlike solving the Pig's mask, the Lament Configuration needs two Survivors to safely complete. The vulnerable state of the puzzle box carrier ensures another Survivor must accompany them to act as a lookout or take hits from Pinhead.

Sbell deserves more pressure than one locked vote can provide anyway imo for saying hey I wont be around for d2 and my only comment is a mild complaint about the game + host.

Host clearly put a lot of time and effort into this game. Frankly, it's fucked up that people have been taking shots at the host. This game isn't nearly as convoluted as many other sites mafia games, and no one here, in the state mafia is on this site, should be criticizing anyone.

Especially the person who replaced out of this game and spent all game last game criticizing the player base as the host themselves, to turn around and do it. All of you can be better. So cut that shit out.

Total agreement here. That is a big part of my frustration with sbell because he was one of a few people I was most looking to see more out of on d2, then he just throws mild shade and says Ill pop in without being caught up here and there, see you at deadline in 48 hours.

And yeah I agree this game is awesome. The split roles thing has also been done exactly like this in Han's Star Wars/Pokemon mafia. There was no warning for it in that game either and the game was universally praised. So I have to disagree that the host made a mistake in not telling us

I go back to read day 1 and ofc land right where a certain someone is patting themselves on the back for having me ignored and lopen blocked.

Corrik I agree with the sentiment that people complaining about the hosting is dumb. Have some fun with it. Just for reference, is this how Han's Pokemon/whatever mafia worked? Just people swapping roles on even/odd nights? Cause I only remember people speaking well of that game.

As for actual thoughts about the end of day. I remember reading through things and being wary of FD very intentionally trying to set up a lynch between Ulti and Wallz. I can't say that his rationale of trying to bring Wallz into the mix, who wasn't one of the previous lynch leaders and so would maybe force scum to act isn't the worst. But with Ulti flipping town, a paranoid part of me can't help but wonder if FD was actually trying to force a town/town lynch there. Kind of like how last game I helped "lead" the end of day lynch because I knew it was all between town at that point. FD basically tried to ensure no special happened, and it stayed where it was.

I did ultimately not switch my vote to Ulti before I left an hour before deadline, though I can't really say that I wouldn't have given a little more time, so I'm not TOO critical of people on Ulti. The push for Ashe near the end DID actually seem like a more traditional special, and I don't see scum pushing for Ashe when they could take out Ulti early. So I feel fairly good about Lea's slot and Ben for being on Ashe at the end. (Sorry Corrik you don't get credit for that one.)

This post makes me feel good about Ben. Ulti flipped TOWN CAT so Ben defending him early in such a way - and not voting for Ulti later - makes me lean town on him.... at least at first. His reactions thereafter, however... I dunno. The good feelings disappeared until 1.348 when he called out Sultan for changing his mind on SBell for no discernible reason. And that may be because Sultan is failing all kinds of vibe checks, at least in topic 1.

The people I like the least are Sultan, Ben, and Dumey. Again, this is just based on the first topic.

I also have no clue if this is a Mafia game or not. Too much going on and I'm just gonna ignore it all and try to find scum.

A lot of the ending confusion that I think actually damned Ulti was an interaction where Ulti, who did not have Vanilla anywhere in his role PM, genuinely thought Lea day scanned him as Vanilla, and just did some mental gymnastics that Lea was smart enough to realize that he was essentially a vanilla and just cut the bullshit when saying it in topic.

This inconsistency in the claim was heavily pushed by FD (though I will fully admit to being present and also expressing confusion at Ulti's thought process here).

But my conclusion here is that FD was a large part of pushing Ulti because of Ulti's incomprehensible actions around understanding his own role, and not actually for being scummy. Coupled with FD making a strong case for trying to isolate the lynch to Ulti and Wallz, makes me suspicious of his motivations at end of day.

Two and more selfishly, I love rubbing it in that you people have zero clue how to read me even though I make it hilariously obvious, then next game you act like real men of genius. I find it personally entertaining.

Oh and for those playing the home game, scum shuts the fuck up when town argues with itself. FD, Crescent, and probably Peaf are town. When no one checks day one later the scum were all inactive around noon on Halloween.

I no longer believe this at all.

That entire argument relied on my understanding of the Opening Post and my own role trait that Flavor traits and Passive traits might not be exclusively spelled out, and that Red may have claimed a Passive trait confidently at start of day, not realizing that an actual Town Miller may not have had a clearly spelled out "Miller" trait.

Peaf told me quite specifically that he had an exclusively spelled out passive trait though, so that entire theory was debunked there. Sorry if that's what got you targeted Peaf.

Ulti made some mistakes that generated aggro because "his actions didnt make any sense". I thought Ulti was super giga town the whole last 16 hours and tried to convince as many people as i could, but I was the only one who thought that way as far as I can tell. Hard to say who was being dense or killing Ulti because they just...dont like Ulti, and who was mafia being intentionally dense because Ulti is an easy mislynch. I should probably go re-read the last 16 hours and try to figure that out.

Meanwhile, Lea's slot got some attention. Not because she posted it on discord, but because she at one point told Ulti he was a vanilla, which made Ulti and some other people think she had a day role scan on Ulti. She clarified later that no, she was able to guess Ulti was vanilla because of what information he implied by his posts. I agree that it was obvious Ulti was Vanilla before Lea said it, but many people thought that they were both mafia, and she was third in votes. I think she could still be mafia but not because of the Ulti vanilla thing

I think Sultan is town.

But you could argue that the way he did it was somewhat of a "counter-claim" stating that the trait clearly had some kind of effect, contributing to Ulti sounding like he's spouting contradictions? I guess it's still up to interpretation whether or not that trait could have a secret effect or not on the game, but it looks like just flavor to me. It sounds way too low value to be true, so I think the more obvious answer that Sultan is simply town and shares that trait is more likely.

I lean town on sultan but lets not call anyone confirmed town for claiming to share a trait with someone whos town. And if sultan is being truthful, in a game of this complexity I think flavor traps are possible.
