Supporting Israel is part of the US presidents job description. Its quite possibly the only truly bipartisan topic in US politics.

What folks here fails to realize is that the average American voter votes based on emotion, not logic.

You can present them with the cold, hard facts about how the country will be objectively worse off under Republican control, and that harm reduction is necessary. And you wouldn't even be wrong.

But people just aren't going to view it like that. Their immediate gut reaction to yet another politician ignoring their problems is going to be much stronger than some hypothetical in the future.

Yeah, I'm second-generation and a lot of members of my family who are first-generation (who voted for Biden in 2020) were saying they're not sure he's getting their votes in 2024 because quite a few issues are still occurring under his presidency like children still being separated at the border, the cages are still happening, and some other things I don't remember.
