Bane_Of_Despair (23) - It's a bigger doggo! I like Boltund, I just wish the eyes were a bit different. It might be coloring, specifically the yellow framing the white outside the iris. Otherwise a solid dog design, he's definitely a good boi.

Thievul is such a cool motherfucker. I know the cunning fox trope has been done to fucking death but I can't get enough of it. I think the design looks a little too busy with the moustache, but please don't mistake me for one of those anti moustache heathens!

Boltund has weird eyes and I don't apologise for this assessment. It's one of those Pokemon that's mostly ok to me in my book, but a lot of little things keep it from being remarkable. Mostly the eyes, but the pattern on its coat and back spikes are a little funky too.

It's the worst doggo. Which isn't horrible but yeah.

they are incredibly generic looking horses and we already have several of them in previous gens which are all better designed than these two

Guess it was about time that my 9th favourite Pokemon of all time would drop!! God, I love this guy, he's so ugly and gross and nasty. And God do I love it when fairy types have edge to them. Bane_Of_Despair (58) - The different forms this one has definitely gives it a bunch of points. Generally it's a pretty solid design, I like the colors used.
Inviso (61) - The gimmick is funny, but there are just too many Water/Flying-types at this point in the franchise.

Luster Soldier (68) - This is one of the derpiest looking bird Pokemon I've ever seen. Another weird thing about this Pokemon is that it can apparently capture either an Arrokuda or Pikachu in its mouth as part of a form change that happens after using either Surf/Dive and whether its HP is above 50% (Arrokuda) or below 50% (Pikachu).
NFUN (88) - Baru doesn't deserve this

Luster Soldier (2) - I love the idea of a whipped cream Pokemon, especially since this one ended up being super cute with a slight feminine vibe. It has 9 main color variations that each have a unique evolution requirement. Each of the color variations has 7 minor variations for the sweet item it is holding when it evolves. Alcremie has a Gigantamax form with an outrageous design - a giant tower cake with a stated height of 98'05". If by some chance you could eat the entire Gigantamax form cake, it would be instant diabetes for sure.

PrinceOfKoopas (4) - Very cute, sweet, and appealing.

Nooo why is Boltund already out :( it is a great doggo. Though I'm a little taken aback by how Yamper evolves into it. They just look like different types of good boys!

As for Thievul... the design is...okay, it works. But gameplay-wise there's just nothing interesting about it. If it were just a bit more useful then maybe I'd like somewhat better.

Inviso (59) - The UFO concept is cool, but holy CRAP this thing is exceptionally weak and slow. It stands out compared to other early-game bugs I've used on teams in the past.

Orbeetle is actually not that slow. It has base 90 speed, which is above average speed for this generation.

Cramorant is a Pokemon I'd probably have ranked quite a bit lower many months ago, but I dunno, it's just slowly started to endear itself more and more to me. The type combination is kind of boring, and it does take a while for me to warm up to stupid looking Pokemon sometimes, but the gimmick is great and as Paratroopa said, there's a fucking Pokemon Yellow hack about Cramorant and that's just beautiful.

Alcremie's different forms are great, and the design is solid, but when the bottom half of my ranking has devolved into "Pokemon I think are fine but I don't love" I have to kind of just start to boot out the ones that just have types or aesthetics I don't care for. Look, I placed Grimmsnarl at fucking second place, I like my fairies nasty.

Nickit ended up placing higher than Thievul because the design felt more tight and less cluttered. I also like its pose better in the official artwork. And can I just add how brilliant it is that its tail covers up its tracks behind it. Fucking amazing.

I don't remember what I ranker Appletun but it was extremely low.

The other two are fine imo which probably means I ranker them pretty high.

Sandaconda's design makes me mildly uncomfortable. Like I get what they're going for, but oh my god please I want to untangle you .... I'd probably place it a few points higher if I remembered it has a G-Max form though.
