Yeah, and it's decently bulky enough (and strong enough) to not let its slowness be a detriment. Still kind of annoying though.

mnk (8) - I still can't believe Stantler got an awesome evolution after all this time. Thank you Legends: Arceus.
Luster Soldier (24) - A well-deserved evolution to Stantler, who was previously one of the most forgettable Gen 2 Pokemon. Much better design over Stantler as well.
andylt (27) - Hm, this wound up being my highest Arceus ranking. A solid improvement on a forgettable pokemon.
Inviso (27) - Just about all of the new Hisuian stuff is actually pretty good, and Wyrdeer's use as a mount and a new Normal/Psychic (which massively improves on Stantler) is not exception.
PrinceOfKoopas (39) - Nothin' against it.

Paratroopa1 (64) - stantler finally gets his day in the sun. by becoming a completely different pokemon
hotdogturtle (72) - I thought I would like this when it was announced, but ultimately what a waste of a Pokemon.
Bane_Of_Despair (73) - It's definitely an evolution to Stantler. I do think it's an improvement on Stantler at the very least from the coloring, but the design itself is sort of eh. Also a little weird they went with Psychic for this design, although I suppose that's better for it than going for the obvious Ice.
Eddv (91) - trashmon

Booooooo. So regal and majestic and holy fuck they remembered Stantler.

I like seeing the Pokmon Compatibility stats being intuitive when the most compatible are other members of a given Pokmon's evolutionary line.

may have ranked urshifu a little too low. it looks good in the gif johnbob posted, when all my gripes for it are in its design. just wow, some pokemon do not look good in 3d! sorry! i didn't play the dlc so this is a big nothing pokemon i guess.

the scyther line continues to be consistently awesome. unlike others, i honestly think kleavor stands up well to the other two to the point that i can't really pick a favourite. love how heavy it looks (fitting for a rock type)

holy fuck this octopus is fucking cute. love the little boxing gloves. i love octopi, they're really cool animals. i love pokemon. i love octopus pokemon :)

i don't really get the disparity between zacian and zamazenta. they both compliment each other well, opposed to most other box legendaries which feel at odds with each other. it's alright. a nice solid good doggo.

unlike some people, i love elephants, but that doesn't save copperajah to me. decent concept awkward as fuck execution.

i think i just wasn't really impressed with how a stantler evolution just ... looks like a better stantler. but at the end of the day, idk what else they could have done since stantler already looks fully evolved! bland, but fully evolved. dunno, just usual "bottom half of my list being a bunch of pokemon im ok with but don't feel strongly about" bullshit.

Dubwool is bad in competitive, so I think its Wooloos popularity carrying it.

Something about Urshifu's mouth kind of puts me off, but I like it apart from that.

A line having one very popular Pokemon definitely helps the whole line.

Zamazenta really should be listed under the Steel Rank (as should Zacian) because of its Crowned form. The Crowned form is Zamazenta's true form and the one used in marketing the games. We didn't know about the base form of Zacian and Zamazenta until after the games were out.

Well yeah? But typically outside gen 1 Pokemon need to get both crowds to do well. At least for the line bleedover.

I feel like that describes all three starters.

My #1 is also something which the western community in particular haaaates despite being one of the most popular of the gen in Japan. So I'm surprised it isn't already out.

Actually that still describes multiple Pokemon this gen tbh.

My #1 is dragapult, which I think is also my favorite pokemon of all time, recently dethroning xatu. I struggle to understand the survival strategy of a pokemon that fires its babies out of its head, and also the babies explode, but maybe this is why it's ghost type
