Dudes just followed every sitcom trope and did nothing with the format at all but it somehow became the last 90s sitcom to leave the air or something like that

Good theme song though

I'll always remember it for implying Patton Oswalt's character had a massive penis.

And for that scene where he was really just in the background without any lines, so he stood completely still in one spot with no expression for a full scene scene.

Arthur was the best part about the show.

Other than that, it's the kind of show I'd watch if I was bored and channel surfing, but I'd never plan or go out of my way to watch it.

Wasnt that the show that had a fucking ridiculous 100 episode order after like the first episode because it was during the peak of the Charlie Sheen Tiger Blood meme and once that meme died a week later they were still forced to make like 97 more episodes that nobody watched.

I remember watching both shows back in the 2000s and being into them... but I was a teen, heck there was a time I even watched according to Jim.

Yes dear is notable for beating modern family to the punch of thin husband/dad to the hot wife which breaks the stereotype of the fat husband/dad character

Yes, Dear is notable for having that cute, innocent wife character make a reference to a hentai comic called Overfiend, getting notably excited when she describes it, and then having her father-in-law find his "son's" Japanese porn in the guest bedroom nightstand.

She was irl pregnant. And she never got as big as Kevin.

As a matter of fact, looking at pics online, she never got fat. It looks like it is just weird internet people thinking someone who isnt super thin is gross.

She was one of the best sitcom wives ever. She was funny, looked great, and was a fully fleshed out character.

It wasn't great by any means, but it was a little more than that. Greg was a stuffy, nerdy film executive with a stay-at-home supermom wife, Kim. Kim's sister Christine and her husband Jimmy, both kinda white trash, were staying in their guest house.
