We've got a ton of legacy games still going strong, hugely successful new blood, and upcoming games from the biggest gacha developers that are sure to be hits. And here's Square, a company who is extremely famous for shutting down all of it's live service games, releasing a gacha that is barely marketed, and what little marketing there is is that it's a remake of a single player game that already had an ongoing AAA remake. Even if a person was desperate for SPECIFICALLY a new turn based gacha RPG and loved FF7, I don't see how a reasonable individual would look at, say, Star Rail for the obvious current example, and go "yeah I'm going to chose this awkward pseudo remake with mediocre production values that won't last a year". The lack of controller support is a bit disappointing though. Really hate gacha games like this where there are 500 different upgrade materials you need to collect to upgrade stuff.
