In buu saga however, the viewer is forced to watch some real silly things that affect the whole show, the way everything is portrayed. Even frieza looks silly in the buu saga, he was never a joke in the frieza saga. Dubs have been actually good for a long time now. Granted not all of them obviously and you will always get a few examples of not so stellar dub performances in even the best dubs but the quality has massively improved and that is objectively true. However, you are of course free to prefer whatever language you watch your media.
