regardless, I would say it's not as much of a glow-up as I was expecting/hoping for

persona 5 is not exactly cutting edge as far as graphics goes, and this feels a half step below it

I think it's a little weird because they're trying to graphically update the persona 3 visual style. Look how everything is tinted blue for example. And like, no I don't think it looks as "good" as persona 5 but it's appropriately capturing the aesthetic. I dunno.

I guess what I mean is, it legitimately does look like an HD version of a PS2 game but it is clearly an HD version of that and that's GOOD. Like how the Metroid Prime remake has everyone saying "this looks just like how I thought the original still looked!" but it doesn't actually, it takes a lot of effort to capture that feeling.

Looks alright to me. Just need to make sure all the extras from 4/5 can make it in. Just doing a one for one remake would still keep it a bit dated compared to the newer games. Couldn't care less about the female character either.

Looks good to me and definitely not just a HD PS2 game. This seems like a full remake but to be honest the line can be incredibly blurry, just look at Metroid Prime Remastered.

Also this is my favourite kind of leak: when a publisher leaks it themselves by accident.

If it was a simple reskin I wouldn't give a damn, but the Female MC route is just flat out a better game. It's also the reason it can't be DLC, it just doesn't integrate like that, you'd HAVE to release this rerelease a second time to include it.

I guess the silver lining of not getting this anymore is that I can finally just play through P3PHD instead of putting it off for the remake.

The AI generated upscaling isn't....THAT bad....just gotta ignore some stairways to nowhere in the background and metal hand railings merging into people's bodies.

Well the trailer already showed one of the original male social links that the femc scrapped, and I highly doubt they're gonna rewrite the MC's dud links.

That's really the main difference, the writing quality is higher for the FEMC Links across the board and there's a lot more fanservice. It doesn't impact the "main" story very much, but it's just a lot more enjoyable to read

I'd say potentially not, but as somebody who has worked social media for a tech company, you have to be extremely careful about what you post. So even if it was an accident, it means you have to question that person's judgment for the future.

Yeah, I don't necessarily disagree with you. It's just that it causes the company to question "Can we actually trust this person, mistake or not, going forward?"

For me, I never posted anything without getting atleast two forms of approval. If I was told to post something by somebody, I'd follow up with HR and/or Executive to make sure, first.

The other side of this is that this guy just got a super valuable lesson, and will never make the mistake again or let anyone around him make the mistake again. Those people are good to keep around.
