thats its head by his feet. It looks like his feet kicking, but in the video, you pause it and scroll through frame by frame. The head comes up from beneath his feet, bites, and goes under a bit. You can even see its nose breach the surface.

After the bite, it turned to the side:

Then the camera panned to the ring again, and when it came back, he was being dragged under and his body looked red in the last frames. You can also hear him scream in pain when he gets bitten.

I'm glad that we've got people like TC in the world, asking the TRUE questions, exposing that our government is at the beck and call of the shark lobby. it's time someone took it to Big Shark to tell the TRUTH.

Nothing ive seen confirms shark but i wouldnt be surprised if it happened.

Jumping off a moving ship at night has got to be way up there on the all time dumb ways to die.

could it HAVE happened? Sure.

but to me the most likely scenario is he got pulled under by the current and that shit can pull you so fast. And you can easily lose distance.

and then you dont realize how far away you can be and no can hear you.

I think we can all agree he's been eaten by a shark by now at least.

I watched the video for the first time just now and came to this topic looking for this post. You can clearly see him make eye context with the shark at the beginning so he swims away, then you see the shark come up under him. The screams in the background make this whole thing so horrifying.

I feel sorry for his parents sure. You carry him for what like 9, 10 months to giving birth to him which i imagine is one of the greatest things mothers do. Then you raise him up from a bag of potatoes to a fully grown man. And then hes gone, just like that.

If that was a booze cruise then literally everyone else on that boat was just as drunk as that teen was and none of them jumped naked into shark infested waters in the middle of the night.

At first I didn't agree it was a shark, but after watching the video again, it's for sure a shark. He makes pretty clear eye contact of it right in the beginning.

Sucks for him. We all make dumb decisions, but this one took his life.

If you willingly and knowingly jump off a bridge then it's not outlandish to say that you deserve the ground. This kid overestimated his mortality in an incredibly dangerous way, and the only tragedy is his family have lost a loved one and that this is a life lesson he'll never be able to learn and grow from.

Not necessarily Some people just let their inhibitions go where drunk Maybe some are just a little meaner when drunk, for example I know Im the type that gets tired. And will sleep in places I usually wouldnt sober

Nope Its dark, and boats are fast, and can be hard to get onto That said, I can only guess at that since Ive never been in that position Though, I still dont see how this is relevant or changes anything Again, what I would do doesnt matter as Im not the people on the boat

Dude, theres stories about sharks eating people all the time. When something gets thrown overboard, they zip in and grab a bite before the swarm gets it all.

In addition to that, the vast majority of the shark attack stories that youre referencing occur in the daytime. A shark is a completely different creature at night. Thats documented extensively by now.

If anything, all the thrashing around got the sharks attention and it may have taken an inquisitive bite before leaving him alone. Thats the usual for sharks.

Yes and no. Those were basically lazy ass garbage sharks that have learned things that come from a boat are food. Typically they're blue, mako or the odd tiger (and imo that was a smaller tiger or bull shark based on head shape) and those guys aren't picky with their meals.

If you want to read something truly terrifying, read survivor accounts from the USS Arizona. Battleship sank in WWIl, over 1000 men died. The survivors basically grabbed onto what they could or formed a human "ball" to stay warm and every so often they'd see a man just get pulled under, could feel the sharks bumping into them etc. They were adrift for at least overnight and dozens of men were taken by sharks.

I agree. Doing something stupid shouldnt mean that you deserve to die in a horrific way (or any way). These guys werent even old enough to drink alcohol in the US, so they were probably didnt know how to handle it yet.

People are always gonna find stupid ways to get themselves killed, it sucks for the family but by 18 you should definitely know that jumping off a cruise ship into waters that may or may not have tons of sharks around is literally the last thing you should do.
