I'd just recommend doing the Rito area 1st since it's intended to be the 1st area (given that red enemies are more common there than the other areas). Plus the ability you get from there is the most useful one from what I've seen so far.

Plus there are a few kinda big side/main quests that have their starting point on the way there.

Definitely do Rito first. It's the best and most useful reward for completing it, plus you run into 3 major sidequests while going that way: Impa's Dragon Tears, Lucky Gazette, and Hestu

I still haven't found Impa and I already have the MasterSword lol

So having done two temples now, I realize there's still an empty slot on my ability wheel.

I found it. It's the Sun Pumpkin. You get it for completing a side quest from Mayor Reede after doing all the election shit.

That seems a lot more complicated than just making a multi-stage rocket and getting to the top of the skybox.

How about someplace off the path? Facing something like that early game is dangerous. The other dragons are off the path but not this one for some reason

If the dragon was off the path you could avoid the cuddles, which is no good. Accept the Gleeok's love!

wow you know what, enemies ragdolling is actually annoying as fuck, and rarely beneficial

combo, sprint after the ragdolled enemy, combo, sprint after that limp and gangly motherfucker, combo, sprint, etc

or if it's an enemy you want the drops from and it slides off the cliff and everything goes scattering away. after two games of this combat, i'm gonna go ahead and say this serves no purpose but to annoy the player

This is something I found that you really needed to work around playing Master Mode in Breath of the Wild. It's also why stamina is so important. Holding down the attack button with a 2 handed weapon and doing that spin attack is the optimal way to fight because it allows you to stunlock most enemies but also keeps them pinned in place.

I sometimes like knocking enemies into water or off cliffs if you don't particularly need their materials. But you're right, it's pretty annoying otherwise.

Talk to Josha (that nerdy girl with the dumb teeth) and she'll tell you what to do next. Follow the statues and you'll get the last ability which is definitely one of the best ones and should be done ASAP since it's a gamechanger >_>

I built a wing with fans and batteries on it to get a Korok to his friend. I put the wing on what I thought was level ground, but it wasn't. The wing sailed off without me. RIP, Korok. RIP.

I once needed to get a Korok up on a cliff and all that were near were rockets, so I strapped 2 to him and had planned to just fetch him at wherever he landed.

He never came back down.

I found a Armored Lyneel in the depths it took 12 bomb flowers and still was only about halfway

Remember you have to hop to the side for vertical attacks.

I made it to Blupee Burrow and I thought I counted 59 Poe total, which would correspond to Iwata's DOB.

If you have a triple shot bow, 1 bomb arrow turns into 3 bomb arrows. Otherwise, either use hammers, bomb flowers, or the Goron power

You can always go to the demon statue and deposit and withdraw hearts as you need them for those heart doors

goddamnit I just learn that the black rocks can be destroyed, it just takes way more damage for it to start showing. Finally got that treasure chest in hyrule castle lockup that was eluding me for the longest time.

Blue rocks have 2x health of brown rocks
Black rocks have 4x health of brown rocks

So as much as the fog in the game is kinda annoying, it does a lot to help the game look better.
