Finally found a pristine royal guard claymore in the depths. Gonna make me a 200+ damage Lyenel killer.

You know you can just throw a chuchu jelly at your feet and get perpetual double damage with zora gear.

Go to the Zonai Forge Island (the stupidly high island). I think that's the only one that has it.

Bottom right area. It's be the really large island that you will have to look up, no matter where you are, to see it.

I finally just got floating stones, completely trivializes the sign guy lol. Also OP when you attach to arrows, you can shoot them in the air, ascend, repeat.

I have only seen Guts ever drop from the upgraded version of any monsters, Lyneel included. So if you're not farming at least Blue-Maned (and you would be best off farming white/silver) then you might have that as your issue.

If you really don't wanna go find the capsule machine, you could do the shrine with homing devices. It has a bolt and a frost emitter. Attach them to each other and fav the build. If you already finished that shrine then sorry :)

Also king gleeok for gleeok guts, doesn't look like the others drop them.

Honestly, when farming dragon parts is just "sit around on the dragon for ten minutes, then collect again" then I think duping is totally justified. It's a really cool idea that you need to somehow jump onto the backs of these mythical beasts. But I wish they'd done it more into some sorts of instanced quests or something. At least farming Lynel and Gleeok parts involves doing dangerous fights. Dragon parts is literally just sit around.

Yeah that shit is so dumb

It does feel like they went quite overboard with the requirements for armor upgrades. Not just in materials, but with how the rupee cost increases exponentially. I get they don't expect most players to even try to get them all, but a lot of it just seems arbitrary.

Among other things, this game has many more minor flaws to point out than BOTW did. Maybe BOTW was just easier to give a pass to on a lot of things because it was the start of the new formula. Despite that, I think this game will likely end up being better than BOTW. It's certainly on that path for me at the moment.

I'm more than halfway through the day and I've yet to touch sand because there's actually quite a bit going on in the Canyon.

I think it was meant to offset the massive rupee cost in activating all four Great Fairies in BOTW. Instead of paying to get them, you instead do quests to get them, and the payment is now on the actual upgrades.

I remember when I saw the first great fairy in her pod, and all I could think about was how poor I was When I saw she didnt want money, I was very relieved

It increased per fountain.

But yeah, it was somewhat better in BotW if you wanted to upgrade everything.

I've been avoiding these topics because I like to take my sweet-ass time with games like these (and I'm the type who gets spoiled by a light breeze), but I had to post my giddiness over Gleeoks being brought back in just about the baddest way possible. Looking forward to a time when I'm equipped to last longer than five seconds against one.

But Id have to have the money before I could upgrade anything at all Like I said, this work better for me this game In BotW, by the time I was starting to unlock fountains, I had quite a bit of money due to all the Talus, the guardians, and food I was selling Without the dupe glitch, money felt hard to come by in this game And where in BotW, I didnt unlock the Great Fairies early, I found (and started to unlock) them super early here. If I had to pay to open them, I wouldnt have been able to for a while Where with how things are now, I was able to upgrade almost immediately And for a good percentage of my armor Both had the pros and cons, but this worked well for me

The Gerudo scenario was such a slog to get through.

I absolutely hate that boss. It wouldn't be so bad if sand wasn't slowing you down and you didn't need to wait 3 minutes for Riju's attack to charge within range.

Interesting. I was just going to come here to say Gerudo Town has been the most interesting place in the game so far. I haven't done the part where you actually defend Gerudo Town yet though, so I'm not sure what that's like.

Gerudo is an alright location, and the temple puzzles weren't bad. But getting around is a real pain in the ass.

I take it you didn't find the Sand Boots then? Just grabbed those, Snow Boots, and the rest of the Desert Voe set.

This does not bode well. I hated fighting the Zora region boss because I felt Sidon was useless. I ignored him and just used Splash fruit.

It was the 4th region I did, and it was the easiest in terms of puzzles for me.
