No. I have friends who eat at Chick-fil-a and they're cool, and ones who refuse, and they're cool. But when you double and triple down on arguing about a fast food chain, it starts to become more than just the fast food chain. At that point, it's not the fact that you're consuming a product that's the issue, it's your personal hang ups that are becoming issues.

Some people have been conditioned to hate anime avatars, so when one comes to life it may be traumatizing.

Attacking them because of Rowling makes about as much sense as attacking the closest employee at a bookstore because her books are on the shelf. Anyone who's worked retail knows what that's like.
