"Yes, I understand that you have done nothing but support trans people and try to vote against people who make laws denying trans peoples basic human rights, but since you bought a game, you're nothing but a scumbag who doesn't care about trans people." Would you wonder if there is some truth behind if there were more people saying it? If JK Rowling bought 10% of Sega and people said buying LaD games supports her transphobia, would you stop or would you excuse it with "Anyone can buy stock in a company" like the Saudis buying some Nintendo ownership?

And you have an issue with people saying other games should be boycotted because that's just retaliation, but they are just pointing out hypocrisy or applying the same logic. If some people say you don't really care like you claim to if you buy a game that will give money to a transphobe, then that also means that buying a game that China would profit off means those people don't really care about how much harm the Chinese agenda does. Does that not track? Or you can be like some people and ignore that I am specifying video games and go "

As I have said before, I have no problem with personal boycotts. I partake in many. I just don't believe they have any real use beyond and that it is morally wrong to "be disappointed in" or however you want to word shame and judge, someone for not lining up with all of your personal boycotts. I think the only way to save us is to overthrow the government, but I am not going to judge anyone for not doing that. "You can't stop people from judging" is what bullies and Trumpers would say. I will not accept that logic. I will never excuse anything like that as human nature.

I think the entire system is evil. I think the mere act of participating in capitalism funds almost nothing but harmful agendas. This is why I don't place any moral value at all on the common man's spending habits unless they are literally telling you they are doing it for immoral reasons.
