How do I go about deciding a team on Nikke? It's not as easy as just picking high tier and cramming together is it? I have reached the level cap already with 5 characters and have several Nikke I just don't know who to pick for best overall skills

The first basics is making sure you have a burst 1, 2, and 3 so you get burst attacks off.

After that, you will want varying supports for 1 and 2 - Litre and Pepper are two top tier burst 1's, with burst 2 being dominated by Centri and Rupi. Team wide defenders can serve in either 1 or 2 for PvP but have niche use in PvE outside some of the "boss content"

Burst 3's got a big choice again - 2 attacks and 1 supporter, 3 attackers etc.

Really depends on who you have tbh for what to suggest.

Start organizing by bursts, then go by guns.

Burst 1: Do you have Liter or Pepper? If neither, use N102. Seriously.
Burst 2: Do you have Centi, Dolla, and/or Rupee? If none, use Anis for fast burst generation.
Burst 3: Do you have a B3 Pilgrim, Alice, Drake, and/or Privaty? Honestly, you have a pretty wide selection of choices here, since this category is overcrowded.

From there, it depends on the enemy you're fighting. Lots of mobs? Bring RLs. Grave Digger? Shotguns. SMGs and snipers are generally underpowered, but a few of those have good support characters (like Liter again and Admi).

Thanks I was stuck in it too so I decided to waste all my gems and then the free thing they gave to unlock the last break thing on Dolla and waste the 200 wrench things as well to buy the parts for Privaty. Now I'm saving all my gems once again I don't care for this event I'll wait for a bikini theme on the summer or Bayonetta if they add her

Lol I usually dont watch ads with the sound on, but for some unknown reason I gave it a shot. And the cheesiness of the voice acting is hilarious. Also State of Survival claiming to have a drop rate over 100% lol

Huh, totally forgot to tag this topic. Just playing FGO as always, valentines event is ending. Summer Abby's scene was great and Van Gogh's scene was everything I was hoping it to be lol.

I'm gonna skip Ligma Company. Gameplay looks so-so, but the animations and graphics are what really kills it for me. Not saying I always expect WotV Esper summon tier quality, but I want at the bare minimum some actual movement :<

Game is okay for now though, and Im happy that Albedo was a free 4 star that I got really quickly. Question for anyone who watched Overlord though: why is Albedo always so defense-oriented in games? Is she just a protector kinda character?

214 rolls, ten dupes. Awful, yet still not as terrible as previous PriFes.

Misora didn't show up until the 13th free roll.

The 15th 10-roll was a double-winner consisting of Cinderella Maho and Magical/Lovely Monika.

The remaining 50 rolls were a bust (outside of a dupe Ninon), but regardless, I used my pity to get Anne+Grea, so I have every PriFes unit once again.

Ended up trying Volzerk - Monster Universe/Monster and Lands Unknown when I saw an announcement of English translated content.

No gacha for characters, you pay for the characters (apart from the free ones); low rarity and few mid-rarity can be bought with earnable currency, the rest of mid- and all high-rarity are real money except ONE high-rarity you can choose freely.

The gacha, therefore, is in the gameplay loop.

Limited banners in Arknights don't get reruns for reasons. Chen Alter is obtainable in other limited summer banners with a very small rateup. If you want her, your best option is saving 300 pulls to spark her.

She's the best of the Friendship Club at least, though that doesn't say much, given that Chloe and Chieru are kind of bad on release. Yuni is similar to MG!Shiori as a physical support, but is generally better (PAtk and PCrit buff for one physical unit, TP regen/magic shield for the party, UB buffs party PAtk and PCrit) since she's not as restrictive. She has some self-debuffs, but they're not anything to worry about.

She's not meta-defining, but still pretty useful.

For the remaining 2 to be released, yeah. Second Friendship Club event, still a year before the sports festival alts though (2 years for Yuni's alt, forgot there was that much time between them).

(Edit: I think I know what you're referring to besides that, but discussing it further would probably be spoilers for NA, and I'm a little fuzzy on the details to begin with.)

Yes I finally understand how Limbus Company works. Ch 1 was charming, ends with the subject matter char Gregor's VA singing to a post chapter credit roll lol. But nothing I haven't seen before in terms of story

So Limbus Company is like, if you're fighting mobs where it's auto-target, just don't bother reading. Match the colors and whatever the enemies are weak to, because most likely even if you're aware what's happening, it's not actually possible to influence what happens. The top part shows you if you have an advantage, and just take it if you do

In combat where you get to select your target, that's where things get more strategic. You have speed, which seems random, but they can be affected with haste. If you target things with a lower speed number than you (just as simple as 4 speed above your character is faster than a 3 speed enemy. Tie doesn't seem to do anything of value), then they are forced to clash with your character. Otherwise if your character is already targeted by an enemy, just clash with them. If there are 2 or more enemies targeting the same character, use characters with higher speed to essentially intercept them. If you can't prevent your char from being targeted by more than 1 enemy, it's recommend you guard with them, which seems fixed per char what type of guard they do

It's really just that simple. Here, using the move that gives you better advantage is obviously recommended. Otherwise it's just a game of trying to get every character being able to be attacked by a single enemy

Everything else? Useless. I think there are far too many RNG elements for any of the fucking numbers to matter. Just let the game tell you on the top whether or not you have an advantage, which basically means the RNG has more chance to give you the win. I'm sure for like hard bosses or whatever, you can theorycraft doing a lot more damage, but the options are basically locked to gacha, so it's unlikely that at this point, whatever decisions you make will actually matter

Just know what speed does to intercept enemy clashes, have everybody attacked by 1 enemy (since winning a clash doesn't damage your character). Sometimes some fucking colors can activate your special move. The UI is too shit for you to know without hassle what colors you need, so honestly just let things happen and hopefully you have the super moves for the hard fights. I dunno

By the way, this is an example of a game where you do simple things with extremely complicated mechanics to accomplish even simpler things. It's like doing a backflip, wobbling around a bunch, crawl a few spaces to the left, then to the right, then just walking the same direction you were before. It's literally worse than just walking straight forward. There's nothing clever about some coin flips and rng damage values deciding who wins lmao

Been playing that Street Fighter Duel since yesterday and damn I'm addicted

So far, the PGR PC client is really good and I haven't had any issues. The graphics are better compared to the emulator, I have a consistent 150 FPS, the load times are much faster, and things are just overall smoother and better. I can even quit the game from my controller! Nice touch.

I forgot that this new event patch brought changes to the gacha: a new gacha animation replaces the generic crate opening and the gacha menu has been streamlined. When the new banner opens tomorrow, I'll go ahead and get one copy of amplifier Selena and grind out the rest of the way to SSS. It'll be nice when that future patch makes the gacha result screen prettier!

Huh, I guess FGO's gonna keep giving summons nonstop for the next few months until LB6.

You know, one thing I really appreciate about KonoSuba is the auto play AI. Unlike most games that just spam the strongest skills possible while using ultimates as soon as they're available, the AI actually makes logical decisions. For example, Albedo has a strong single target skill, an AoE skill, and her ultimate raises the team's defense and reflects damage for a while. But she'll use her normal attack instead of either skill or ultimate to kill off a single remaining enemy.

I can just see her in any other game, with just a single enemy left with a pixel of health, and she would use her non-damaging ultimate lol
