Chad Henne is a really good backup QB, better than who most teams have.

But if the Eagles score a TD before the half, it's over. A 14-point deficit is not something a QB2 can overcome.

Yeah, this too. Having an hour of rest due to the extended halftime will help him if he just twisted the ankle, but he's had that sprain, so I don't think it's that. We'll see in the second half.

There's something a little unsettling about this dancing. I mean, it's talented for sure but it just feels... off. The robotic moves combined with almost full body covering gives it some uncanny valley vibes.

Yeah, there were a few held notes where she stopped before the recording did. That's why I said it was obvious. At the start, it also felt like the timing was off, but that was quickly rectified.

But yes, it's awful. The most memorable part is whatever the hell her dancers are wearing. This is showing why I've never really been a fan of her music: Not much variety or range. She does one thing and does it well, but it gets tiring given what it is. I kept expecting a guest to come save the day like the time Cee Lo saved that horrendous Madonna show.

I hope that's already happened if the Chiefs really complained in September. That may be why they haven't changed cleats yet: They came prepared. That said, the excessive amount of paint did not help (when was that put on? Today?). Someone should be fired for that, too.

Just chiming in to say that the game itself is the only good thing about this superbowl so far. Commercials have all been basically "random celebrity cameo" on repeat and halftime show was an anticipated bore.

That $10 million thing is kind of bullshit. You have to have made at least 1 pregame $5 Same Game Parlay bet to opt in. Then, everyone gets a piece of that $10 million as site bets...that have to be used in a week...and any winnings from those bets don't include the ante from your $10 million piece.

The ads have been good, though the second half not as much. There's been nothing memorable; after a show start, they got good, but nothing more than that. And now there was a repeat.

That was a tense challenge for both teams' fans. I've been there.
