The only thing that counts as played that isnt you directly putting the card on the board from your hand is Mysterios Illusions, because otherwise it would be obvious which of the three is the real one

First location was Weirdworld and second was Lamentis-1, but I didnt get the draw 3 cards part of itis that intentional or a bug? Had to retreat because I had nothing I could even play :/

yeah this is a known bug. Whoever had priority gets to draw and the other doesn't. Also worth knowing, though it wasn't the case here and is intentional, you can't draw if you have Widow's Bite in hand even when Lamentis or Attilan tells you to

Also fuck the 5 rocks location. Drew a rock EVERY TURN after it revealed :( :(

5 rocks location is probably my least favorite in the game. Too much RNG. And that's saying something considering I don't mind X-Mansion

Know what was even better? A second location also turned into 5 rocks in that match :(

That happens to me way too much. I just play all my rocks on 5 and then retreat

I think it's just like

Yeah on X-Mansion you can get screwed. You retreat for a cube and move on or choose to play it out.

On Rockland you have to play several more turns to realize how screwed you are it makes the game feel like a waste of time.

Dream Dimension still the worst location for me

I dislike Dream Dimension quite a bit too. It is awful if your deck relies on 5 drops to function properly, it should cap at 5 cost.

Also Dreamscape. Just annoying sometimes. That one is more plausible to actually play around that the other two most of the time but these are all worse terrains than Ego.

A location that saps 1 of your energy on turn 5 wouldn't be too bad.

i can't believe they didn't nerf sunspot to a 1/0 honestly considering that card is literally ubiquitous

thanos buff is kinda whatever because he's the least impactful part of his own deck / rarely even gets played out on the board

rest of the changes are probably not moving the needle on any of those cards. i don't think sandman will see any more play at 5/5, in fact he might even be worse now coming down a full turn later.

Man that is a harsh nerf for Sandman disguised as a buff

Sandman is definitely a more viable Deathwave counter now.

Yeah

I'm going to be trying out Sandman with this change. I do think if you can ramp into him on turn 4 he's more viable than he was before (ramping into him turn 3 or otherwise)

and Hit Monkey is the next battle pass card

Also Absorbing man fixed in the bugs to work with Wong and Kamar-Taj

Played against my first Galactus just now, they got to play Death and a 51 power Knull on turn 6.

You can electro + viper on turn 4 too

and the Klyntar symbiote cant be killed by killmonger anymore

lol yeah probably best to just leave before turn 6 against Galactus. Unless they have priority somehow and you have Shang-Chi you're probably cooked.

This Sandman buff feels like it's going to be really annoying. I get that turn 6 combos are too powerful but the meta being "play 1 card a turn" just sounds so boring.

Yeah Electro into Sandman is going to be pretty bad for a while. Sure you could do that before but now you're not really skipping the Sandman turn. 5 power isn't great but it's a lot better than 1 power.

Oh man the Goose and Cosmo variant for that Hit-Monkey BP look pretty great. The Goose card back? is also awesome looking.

That Mystique variant is an easy grab. The Sinister and Bishop are both pretty great too (though I think I still like the Chess in the Park Bishop more)

Even without Moon Knight you run into enough Discard decks to where shell often be 1 cost. I say this as someone who hasnt made it to the super sweaty tiers though

At the very least, I'd consider adding her to one of my Lockjaw Discard decks. Seems like a really good option to have.

They added an animation at the beginning of the game that shows all 6 stones going into your deck 1 at a time with Thanos.

That was really not necessary.

Stature seems like one of those cards you throw into any deck when youve got space left after all the important cards are slotted

Yeah it's fun synergy with Moon Knight but energy is already pretty tight in discard decks. Sometimes you don't even play any discards until turn 5. This card can only be played after Moon Knight in most situations so it's basically just a dead card a lot of the time.

Y'all are forgetting Black Bolt. 5/8 that discards the lowest card from the opponent's hand.
