Really any SB combination would be fine with me though.

I prefer new matchups in the Super Bowl, so I'm picking the Eagles in the NFC by default.

Plus, Bengals/Eagles would be a good uniform combo

Yep. Shanahan gave them a TD and now they have no QB. This is probably just going to turn completely unwatchable.

I won't argue that Purdy wouldn't be more fun than Johnson but the main entertainment from watching the niners never came from the QB anyway

Yeah, that's very true. But even when it has played out that way in the past, you usually at least get a couple truly competitive games. Not necessarily the 49ers fault here since their backup backup backup turned out to finally be an egg, but still.

Yeah... QB can maybe be the least talented of the 22 starters but they have to at least not turn the ball over on the snap. Every play has a snap

This game ended before it started. 3rd and 4th string QBs aren't going into Philly and winning.

Feel like there was at least a halfway decent chance a 3rd string QB was going to go into Philly and win.

But yeah man what kind of front office doesn't have their backup to their backup to their backup lined up just for this situation smh.

I'd probably agree with you, but they probably still get bodied by the Niners if they get in instead of Seattle. That SF offense would've eaten their defense alive.
