I like how he clearly expected an uncomfortable chuckle, and didn't know how to react to a full blown laugh.

The Saints are supposedly interested in Derek Carr, although I don't know how they'd afford him, given their cap situation.

Playing in the NFC South would have to be appealing for Carr though, especially now that Brady's gone.

I can see it now.

Mid-November. A middling Jets team taking on a middling Patriots team in Foxboro. Tom Brady is sighted sitting in box watching the game. Derek Carr has been ineffective in the first half, and the Jets are down 10 at the half.

Second half begins and the Jets take the field, only, where the QB? Confusion abound, until, wait...who's that coming out of the tunnel? And...wait, is that Brady in...HOLY SHIT IT'S A JETS JERSEY! Cameras cut to Belichick, who offers the slightest tinge of a grin. The fans are going nuts; cheers then boos, they don't know what to think! Brady leads the Jets to an amazing come from behind victory and the NY media spends the next week fawning over the Jets chances to catch the Bills and make some noise in the playoffs.

The Jets proceed to lose 5 of their next six, with an ineffective Brady visibly checked out with 3 weeks remaining after getting pummeled at home by the Bills. As he walks off the field Week 18, the camera catching him talking to himself "what the fuck was I thinking...".
