kinda late, but when he was going over some of Elden Ring's flaws (as he saw it), one of his criticisms was how exploitable the jumping attack with weapons move was.

yet, when you watched his playthrough, that's pretty much all he did; he didn't really try to change things up.

TBF, that game is cheap as fuck, so i'd take anything that works too. Around the 5th time you get jumped on the road all bets are off. It does show the game makes anything possible with someone like him who brute forces being able to get through it.

DSP completes souls games by cheesing, over leveling and handholding. He also watches guides to see what to do.

You can play souls however you want, but the way he does it makes it so boring to watch and he acts like he climbed a mountain.

true, I don't mind people being able to use whatever method(s) they need to play through something, but I also think it's unfair to critique one of the ways you took advantage of when the game has many other ways to play.

This is part of the reason why I like him playing MGS games so much. There's rarely an optimal way to play the games, so you gotta rely on skill a lot of the time.

People called it: as soon as dsp began pushing for bounties he got flooded with trolls giving fake ones.

Dents donated 60 memberships to hit the goal for the superbowl event. He still need 9 more members to reach it. At least 100 memberships expires in two days, but he's set up a january stretch goal for a new react event. I think he said he needed +100 over the current goal to reach it, so 700 total.

Speaking of gifted subs. Someone did the math, Phil currently has 1.858 gifted subs and 54% of those come from just 2(!) people: TeamIcoGamer and Emil.

Team pays about 2.200 dollars per month for that and Emil 1.700 dollars.

Just thinking about that drives me insane.

I think subs are like 70/30 in Phil's favour and he charges 5 dollars for them.

I'm not sure what you're talking about with 1850 gifted subs. His total subs is at around 600.

Ah okay, my bad then. Having said that, he really should stop looking at individual "cases", because at the end of the month he still makes bank.

On the other hand I don't expect him to, because guilt tripping his audience every time a game is poor (in terms of income) seems to still reliably work.

I think he complains about subs/not counting them, since he doesn't get that money right away (same with Superchats, I imagine). He has to wait to get that money from Youtube, so it doesn't count in his eyes, unless he gets the money right away, so he can immediately spend it.

You know, instead of the adult thing to do and save the money for a rainy day (heh), but he "has so many bills and other expenditures." I'm pretty sure his money is gone the moment he gets it, usually on stupid stuff, most likely.

Phil cut out the ending part of his Warzone stream where he threatens to and does ban people for not donating him money. Some people are saying that's a youtube terms of service violation (it should be, at least), so Phil is trying to not get hit by removing it from the video.

This is two days after he "apologized" to his audience for begging them too hard for money. Two days later he has to try and hide from youtube that he begged so hard he violated their terms of service.

I doubt anything will ever happen on youtube. Phil has plot armour or something. But if it did, it wouldn't be relevant if he removed the video. He said it live on stream while streaming on youtube. That's the same thing, surely, and it can't be removed. Alternatively he removed it because he didn't want his audience to see it as after getting sober he realized how bad it looks. In which case, I'm sure he'll do another apology for begging as he ought to. Surely! Or I guess he could just sweep it under the rug and ban people who mention it.
