There's a non-0% chance that I might have not played Rev past this happening. I thought I did because I thought the handshake scene was at the end, but clearly it wasn't.

The handshake is the end, after they jump off the bridge they all die for being stupid enough to jump off a bridge, there's a few more hours of gameplay as Corrin hallucinates before dying but it's essentially over now.

Fates has a map maker with the castle battles. Fire Emblem Heroes also has a system that lets users create (legitimately evil) maps and force other players to play them.

I am particularly in love with Increasing Garons of Discomfort.

Boy I am LOVING this map. I was worried that having a full party would muddle the 3 unit puzzle it was in Conquest, but it's even more of a blast.

Nothing quite like being 1 damage short of 1 rounding a unit that could kill you on retaliation, going down and getting a kill and level up with your shadow clone, and getting that point of strength needed to get the kill up top.

Wendy is a character that exists to be in a game that has reclassing.

I look forward to the potential FE6 remake and tearing enemies to shreds with Paladin or Swordmaster Wendy.

Not fucking...a level 1 Armor Knight with a 30% defense growth, her second lowest growth rate across the board.

They had to have been going full meme in FE6.

Armor Knights literally have a triangle attack in that game.

Still beats the Rolf/Boyd/Oscar triangle attack by a country mile.

Does it? Rolf/Boyd/Oscar is pretty challenging to even set up but it's at least plausible that I'd be using those characters. I'm probably never gonna use an armor knight in FE6, much less three of them.

Missed screencap opportunities here, but good to know that the one pure royal playthrough option I could go through to try and avoid even psuedo incest is the only one that was legitimate incest.

Also Gunter is showing up a lot in cutscenes so he's the main villain the entire time, I'll call now.

Well, it not only requires you to use Rolf, it also requires you to pick bows over axes on Oscar's promotion. I don't want to do either one of those things. In RD it's a little better since Oscar is forced to get bows, but it still requires you to use Rolf and he's still not very good in RD.

Actually, correction. Gunter has no supports here even though he had them in Conquest, so that's gonna be a corpse puppet situation. They made Gunter absolutely dreadful (he got to the same level here that he was when he joined in Conquest, and he's a total joke even compared to that already awful Gunter), so there was no chance he could be a key component of your party no matter how much you tried.

Gonna call this one gameplay spoilers.

Wait, they can give a character no supports in one route and they didn't do that with Scarlet? They should've done that instead of hoping that there wasn't an oversight where you could marry her and then Corrin seems more upset about how he's going to tell Ryoma than the fact that his wife just died.
