Birthright has been completed, but all Fates games will be added to the list at the same time.

The Conquest journey continues, currently on an exceptional high note from a gameplay perspective. Where will the path take us from here? Will the Awakening ranking haunt me for the rest of my days? Will I end up liking Revelations and thus become a pariah of the Fire Emblem community? Will Engage somehow manage to rangle more out of me than the $220 I've ready spent on it before it's even released? Will random Citra emulation bugs give me a seizure before I can finish these games? Only time will tell.

Awakening under Fates isn't something I would have expected when this topic series began, but it makes sense considering you played Awakening near the end of everything. It probably ranks higher if it's one of the games you started with. Which sums up Awakening's popularity in general.

I hope Fire Emblem Engage lets me link my FEH account and gives me rings for every character in my barracks.

Looked at all the alternate outfits for Alear and it's wild how much better she looks in literally anything outside of her default outfit.

I know these outfits are too 'simple' for a main character but they're actually pretty good! Even the hair starts to look okay if you put it in a ponytail. I might actually play the game if I can change to these early on.

I'm not one to shake a stick at two Wyverns, but I want at least one unit who can viably use throwing weapons other than the Flame Shuriken.

The FEW1 characters got thrown under the bus. They aren't even eligible to be voted for in the yearly FEH popularity poll that Intelligent Systems uses to help decide which characters to added to FEH. Shez, on the other hand, is already in FEH along with Monica. A number of the TMS characters are in FEH as well.

Considering how FEH digs deep for its roster, that honestly seems like either an oversight or some weird licensing thing. Maybe Koei Tecmo owns the characters due to contract weirdness?

They must know at this point that they aren't on the poll so it must be intentional. Licensing could be a problem but it could also be that they just don't care. I almost immediately regreted not giving Odin a slot, but he seems kinda dogshit anyways.

I've ordered physical games off of Amazon (mostly for the Switch). Haven't stepped in an actual GameStop for a decade, though...until recently, when I didn't feel like waiting for Tactics Ogre Reborn to ship. Great game, by the way, would recommend once the Fire Emblem fest is completed.

I've always been bothered by the Awakening kids being on the Conquest side. They're moral people who shouldn't be tolerating Garon's nonsense. Also Laslow/Inigo canonically loses to Xander in a duel and that's kinda lame. Someone who's been fighting to survive his entire life deserves to be better than great value Camus.

Having a crisis realizing I put myself into a corner having multiples of the same class.

Selena has to be a Hero because Nina is going to be a Bow Knight. Soliel is only a Hero or a Bow Knight by default. Plan was for Peri/Laslow, and Peri is going Great Knight, so Soliel can seal over to Cav and Paladin, but Xander is a Paladin!

I think my only path to mental acceptance is Falcon Knight Soliel with her mom as Selena instead, but boy is losing C in swords gonna hurt.

Odin is basically a myrmidon who decided he wanted to be a dark mage, and thus was given the statspread of a myrmidon reclassed into a dark mage.

Then you reclass him to samurai and he's still mid.

I've heard that Conquest Odin can be an effective early tank, thanks to Nosferatu, but I've never bothered to give it a serious try myself.

Corrin could have outright killed Rinkah, but didn't. That's much better treatment than she expects to receive from Nohrians. She reconciles this discrepancy by concluding (accurately) that this mercy comes from Corrin specifically and not Nohr in general.
