There's actually three...

Fighting, Fire/Fighting (Scarlet), and Water/Fighting (Violet)

I think I messed up the cloning attempt, I did it and lost access to my menu full of pokemon TM materials. Thankfully I didn't save so a restart fixed everything

Down in area zero. Damn suicidal jumpluffs lol. Two of them so far used memento on their first turn.

I think you're thinking of the Damp, which only works on self-destruct + explosion IIRC. I don't think you can stop memento with an ability, but you can use the move Taunt to prevent it from being used.

Ended up catching the next one. Used an attack instead of seppukuing itself

Super early in the game I thought it was going to be an important gimmick for getting certain unique pokemon to spawn; in like area 1, I was fighting a trainer, and after a few mins, a random Oricorio flew in and started waving its pom poms like a cheerleader. I thought that was just a way to get it to spawn and that there would be other tricky/specific spawning methods like that since it was one of my first trainer battles in the game.

Seems like it was just luck now that it happened to be that Pokemon considering most everything will stick around and watch. Still funny though.

Or use Taunt provided you outspeed or use it with a Pokemon that has Prankster.

It's quite annoying that you can't track Pokemon steps for evos like on pawmo. Never evod one yet, can't use miraidon down here so I thought I'd walk it. No idea how close I am. Also annoying that it easily falls behind and goes back in it's ball

I did see a video that showed him walking the roundabout path in Los Platos three times being enough to level up Pawmo and the other two, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

It's the most infuriating thing about this game -- I had a Rellor (same evo method) as my buddy for a long time trying to get it to 1k steps. I would pop it in and out regularly to get a few steps in while I was exploring. Of course, as you say, it is too slow to keep up, so it goes back into its ball. Thus I would hamper my own exploration experience by having to slow myself down since it would lag too far behind.

Well guess who ALSO didnt know that the counter allegedly resets when it goes back into its ball...

Yeah. Very obnoxious. It's easy now that I know how to do it (just crouch and walk around with it out for ~10 mins, then use candy to level it), but not being able to "check" without leveling it up is super annoying.

I just ran around the city where the school is. And just would wait for it to catch up. Evolve pawmo and the tumbleweed

I don't think that's true... I just randomly sent my Pawmo out multiple times while running around exploring during the maingame and it still evolved into Pawmot... No way was it ever out long enough to get the steps in one go...

Got my team to level 100 last night. Need to unlock t6 raids then see how quickly I can power level an Azumarill for that Charizard raid.

Anyone with Scarlet willing to trade me their Koraidon? Like, I don't need to keep it, hell I don't even WANT to keep it, I just want it for the dex. Touch trade is perfectly okay and actually preferred.

I started my second playthrough (doing a birds only run) and I somehow got two first-day random shinies again, just like I did with my first playthrough. I have no idea where this luck is coming from. It's absolutely insane.

As for the playthrough itself, I have 2 gyms and 1 titan done so far, and my team right now is Quaxwell, Kilowattrel, Pelipper, Oricorio, Corvisquire, and Flamigo. I'll probably replace Flamigo with Hawlucha later on (I like Hawlucha better, plus he's the only bird that can learn False Swipe for catching other Pokemon) and I'm also considering Honchkrow, Bombirdier, and Espathra as other options.

Also, I haven't installed the update yet. Still waiting to see what actually changed with it.

Bro I absolutely cannot with these stupid raid mechanics. Gamefreak needs to put an ATB bar or something on there because it's pissing me off that everything just seems to happen at random >_>

Also Azumarill does pretty decent damage to Charizard with Play Rough, but Belly Drum is right out. Might try Aqua Ring and some Leftovers and hope that gives me enough staying power, but I'm too salty to keep playing.

edit: never mind, decided to give it one more go. Won the raid, but I did nothing. Everyone else seemed to be able to get in a hit every few seconds while I'm just sitting there watching the animations play. Seriously how does this shit work? At least got a few cheers in so I helped keep the team alive I guess

You can change into the winter uniform for pants

Shiny charm is no joke. I found two shinies in the span of 30 minutes.

Granted one of them was a Golduck, a shiny I already have (Psyduck was my first shiny in this game, and I wound up evolving it and using it on my team). The other one was Electrode, for those curious.

What even is this game.

Press left on the d pad to access the customization menu. The other directions do things too, but they aren't about fashion so they don't really matter.

It attacks instantly at the start. Part of why iron hands is ass in it.

You can't skip the middle health bar transition to the shield phase, it'll always bounce back to that point even if you technically should one shot it. And yeah it can be deadly. Not reflect but the special defense one is practically necessary.

Caught it with 2 Iron Hands, a Grimm, and a Sylveon. Tera'd my Iron Hands into Electric and spammed Belly Drum Foul Play while the others did their thing. The lag on this raid in particular was horrible.

I haven't been able to see it for some reason. I beat the game, so clearly there's nothing else I need to do...right?

So the Charizard has no dragon moves, right? It's Fire Blast, Hurricane, Sunny Day, and Overheat?

It's not just Charizard, raid 6 pokemon tend to have more than 4 moves too and are level 95 for the fight and 75 for capture so what are the rewards for downing charizard?

Idk what the requirements for events are, but Charizard is in a black raid stone which I think you unlock by doing a bunch of (maybe 5 star?) raids. Professor Purple Hair Man calls you and says "we found new raid stones that will fuck your shit up" and that's when you can start doing six stars.

Fuck, that means I have to do the gym leader rematches anad the school tournament to unlock those. How dull, anybody know if the captured charizard can breed and willing to trade me the egg? If I gotta do that I'd like to have some fun with it by using a new team save for my starter and my shiny Iron Vailant of course.
