No Scorigamis this week, although Dallas/Chicago killed one by being the second 49-29 game ever

I just looked at ESPN's website to see how the game was going and the first thing I saw was Amari Cooper threw an interception.

Yep. They were done, and while I didn't personally see the second half, it sounds like they knew they were done.

But it started with a godawful interception by Wilson.

I would be picking against the Jets next week regardless of their opponent because they're not going to mentally recover in the next game, but given they're playing the Bills it just makes it worse.

This team will completely shatter if the Bills blow them out, which they likely will.

apparently LeBron over the weekend said he felt he could no longer support the Cowboys on a moral basis so now he's a Browns fan

Ravens already win the AFC North huh

The Browns have looked completely superior at everything and are racking up TDs that look effortless. One receiver shouldn't make this much of a difference.

Yeah it's really disappointing. Other leagues have such awesome trade deadlines and the NFL is poop. The only thing that the NFL does worse than other leagues (in terms of the product they put out!)

Huh, good trade for the Bears. Not sure it offsets the bad trade of getting rid of Roquan, but Fields needs a weapon at WR.

Wasn't a fan of letting Roquan go but he's a free agent this offseason so if he wasn't going to re-sign for the Bears I get it.

I dunno a 2nd rounder for a guy they're gonna have to pay next year? maybe he'll ball out now that he's not the third option but seems like an overpay

There are no great receivers in the FA class (Lazard likely to be the best one), so I'm fine with this. Assume the Bears trade down in the first round with a QB-needy team anyway. First round WR+Claypool+Mooney, that's a solid core.

The Dolphins directly turned Tunsil into Waddle + Hill + Chubb, right? Anybody else I'm not immediately seeing? Even if not, massive W for the Dolphins, especially if they can string a run together off the back

As much as I have been happy with the fruits of that trade, I'm still waiting for a playoff win for the first time since I was in elementary school.

I heard that it could be anything from selling the team to selling a minority stake, so unfortunately I think the more likely explanation/outcome is he sells a stake to get the cash to build a new stadium.

Yep. That came out just a few hours later.

And since week 9 doesn't actually start until Sunday this week it'll still be the NFL headline until then.

In other news,after taking Tuesday and Wednesday off for "personal reasons", Cooks isn't playing tonight.

Genuinely wonder if he's ever going to play for them again with how disgusted he seems with the franchise as a whole. Wonder how much it'd cost him.

Apparently Dallas was trying to get him but they couldn't work out the deal before the deadline.

Houston wanted a 2nd round pick and at least one more pick in round 3 or 4 for Cooks and his massive guaranteed salary.

Dallas was the only team who even bothered trying to negotiate it, but Houston wouldn't budge. The deal apparently was never even close.

It sounds like Houston got greedy and just assumed some team would be desperate enough to swoop in and pay it at the deadline, but no one ever so much as humored actually doing it.

I mean, they drafted Olave in case this happened, but I'm sure they'd prefer to have had healthy Michael Thomas as well. His body has just betrayed him the last couple years.

My mans completed barely 50% of his passes and barely would've cracked 250 if not for that last pass in regulation. Finished with a qbr of 30. I would like to see baker playing under not-rhule before writing him off as inferior to walker.
