I am currently 4-0 in the afternoon games and could be 0-4 in the drop of a hat.

I'm on break now so let's see~

Also my timeline for the end of Panthers/Falcons.

I exit the freezer and see the Falcons get the ball inside the Carolina 20 up 3 with like a minute left "Surely they won't Falcon".

I see the three and out (but not the kick) before entering the freezer again.

I exit the freezer just in time for Carolina to miss the PAT and go back in.

I come out and see Atlanta turned it over in OT.

Just before I go in back, I see the missed field goal.

I'm thinking "This will say 37-34 F/OT in favor of Atlanta next time I leave the freezer. This is exactly what happened. I had a longer task that time, and did not see anything between that miss and Atlanta's win.

What a horrifying loss for the Panthers. What's this league got against Pj Walker anyway?

I feel dirty saying this, but somebody in a fantasy league I'm in dropped Jeff Wilson when the trade was announced

I snapped him right up because as much as I would like to see what he can do on the 49ers and he's a brilliant player, that team is fucking cursed and I'd be surprised if he stayed healthy more than a couple weeks

Also the Rams aren't good

They went all in to win the Super Bowl last year and now the bill's come due

The Eagles schedule is so easy this team could cruise effortlessly to at least 15 wins. At Dallas is really the only threatening game on their schedule. The next worst game is.. Hosting Tennessee?

I still think healthy Dallas is better, but these two teams are far and above the best in the NFC. If Dallas actually loses in round 1 to whoever wins the South, it's a colossal failure of a season.

It feels like it's mostly just Bills/Chiefs and Eagles/Cowboys and a whole lot of mediocrity behind them.

I just need a blowout either way, but I felt nervous taking this game because it just feels like to the extent the NFL seems scripted at times that Green Bay inexplicably wins here or otherwise plays the Bills weirdly close.

but i need someone to win by double digits so unless the weirdness is "packers blowout" i hope i'm wrong

I wasn't going near this game for level 4. This has all the makings of an inexplicably close game.

I'll be impressed if we keep it within 2 possessions

I agree but I just didn't like any other game either!

The Packers arent going to be close. This will be a blowout and early bedtime for all.

I need the Bills to win for parlay. But I also need the Packers to score points cause my fantasy matchup comes down to my opponent's Bills D (classic case of highest scoring team vs. 2nd highest too). But I also need the Bills to win by 10+ for ladder. All these absolutely can happen...but will they? Uggh let's see.

Truly though I blame my own Bears. Offense was too good against the Cowboys defense and the defense couldn't stop Tony Pollard from scoring a 50+ yard TD.

Bills should've won by more but took their foot off the gas once they realized Green Bay couldn't beat them.

Random takeaways from yesterday that turned into a montage of analyzing losing teams:

Jaguars would have a winning record with a competent QB and would be favored to win the South. A better coach would also help.

Pineiro cost us the four way 3-5 tie with the Panthers leading the South, but that team should be Walker's for the rest of the season. He's easily the best QB on it.

Jets are still mentally fragile. New players, same uniform. To quote someone from Discord yesterday: "The Jets played the second half like a team that expected to lose." The trash time TD convinced no one otherwise.

Giants got super exposed in a predictable and convincing fashion. At least 4 divisional losses are on the way, but this team can still back into the playoffs off of easier games like Houston.

"Wtf Raiders?" Most people picked the Raiders. They got shut out by a team that's giving up billions of points. Something is broken. Like, functionally broken. Changes are required, but good luck figuring out exactly what.

The Rams are a threat to implode in on themselves at any time. They went from up 14-10 to down 31-14 in a flash and this isn't the first game that kind of thing has happened.

Surprise, Bears are still pretty bad! Dallas let that game be closer than it should have been, and it was still a blowout!

Cardinals still reek of the "just not good enough" energy they had before Hopkins came back. I had this team as the 7 entering the season - 7 feels like their ceiling.

Colts made a good decision to find out if Ehlinger is worth anything. This team reeks of similar "just not good enough" energy.

One on a winner:

Never count out Touchdown Taylor in Washington. Could ultimately pass the Giants and take their playoff spot, as they get to play them twice. Probably the biggest difference between him and Wentz is he won't throw the soul crushing INT in the end zone with 30 seconds left. It's a big difference.

My mans completed barely 50% of his passes and barely would've cracked 250 if not for that last pass in regulation. Finished with a qbr of 30. I would like to see baker playing under not-rhule before writing him off as inferior to walker.

That pick six being taken back because of roughing right before the half just broke them. You could tell they were going to lose from that moment on.

Roquan Smith to the Ravens for a 2nd and 5th. Unlike the Quinn trade, hate the return on this one.
