So I actually have some downtime in between flights and we didn't get much participation last night, I actually think I can make the determination now.

Games with 5+ Nominations are guaranteed a bracket placement. This could drop to 4 based on further participation but it will not rise above this.

That currently puts us at 51 out of 96, which I feel is pretty solid given how abruptly spots were eaten up in gen 5. Goal was to keep participation active while preventing people from doing any sort of trigger locking, so now we have a pretty large pool of games that have qualified with genuine support and a large pool of games to pick from that have already received some of the support. I'll consider this to be a success and assuming no issues arise from here on out, this will likely be the method going forward to future generations

Crazy how the Ace Attorney games might not even make the cut by the end of the nominations. I expected Trials and Tribulations to be a top seed here.

Games released exclusively in Japan (or some other non-English country) can be nominated, though they are completely eligible to be nominated for future generations as well, so long as their first worldwide appearance was in that separate generation. Only example that comes to mind is the first three Ace Attorney games. Feel free to nominate them into the bracket here, but they're totally eligible next time if they don't, since we know them as DS games 'round these parts.
