I was gonna say, just because you have the right, doesn't mean you can karen all over the other people. But then, you're landlord, so you really got the right to flex all you want over them. But flexing isn't always the best solution to a problem. You gotta try to get along with roommates and tenants because nobody likes being flexed on. If that's a problem, don't have roommates.

I wasn't even flexing or being a Karen. They live there every day and because of issues with them I can't even though I'm supposed to. It's not a flex to just ask someone to leave for one night.

Still the same, either have it officially removed, or have your lawyer contact their lawyer about the cat.
Since you already lawyered up, I think it would be a bad idea to just do something with the cat yourself.

You have lawyered up.
You then did something with his property without explicit permission or communication?

I don't have an attorney yet. If I do lawyer up it isn't like I need permission to be there? I'm supposed to be a RESIDENT owner. Not a landlord who lives off property. Why would I need permission to go to the place I'M supposed to live?

What did I do to HIS property without permission?

No one has been there again today so now I have to decide if I should go there or not to feed the cats.

My apologies, I interpreted that as the cats being his and you wondering whether you should be the kind landlord and feed the cats for him.

As opposed to you questioning whether you should go to your own property, to take care of your own cats.

Yes they are my cats. One of them likes him better and if he asked I'd let him take her with him but they both are mine.

And we both were chill. Neither of us were not calm with each other. I get it's an annoying inconvenience for the homeowner to ask you to leave but it's not your house.

And I don't have a roommate. I call him that as a courtesy. I'm a homeowner who is renting a room to someone. He's a tenant.

If you're such a prude you want to boot people from the house for privacy you really should not be renting part of it out, you have problems.

Because I didn't immediately roll over when they spoke. That's why my roommate got so mad I asked his unattended house guest to leave the house for the night. Because I wasn't rolling over and doing what he wanted.

I feel like you should be adding cameras to common areas. Obviously not the bathroom/his bedroom, because good luck not getting sued for that, but other areas should be okay and would help deter vandalism/reassure you it isn't happening.

I drove by the house. There are no cars there and the garage is in disarray. I set the house alarm and if it isn't unset by the time my ex goes to work tomorrow I'm gonna go inside

As someone who's currently homeless, acting like Jen is in the wrong here is ridiculous when she's already overextending herself to her ex and his current gf. They sound like leeches and are lucky to not be in my position because of the homeowner giving them as much leeway as they've been given.
