Considering stopping playing until they fix Iron Giant.

Iron Giant is usually free for me unless they get some cheap kills off the top or something.

Although I did play a game against 2 Iron Giants in duos and it was absolutely awful. They both stunlocked me into a combo that did like 80 damage and we lost in like 30 seconds. I don't even think they were friends or coordinating either.

I don't know if anyone else does co-op vs ai sometimes to do daily missions, but every time I go against a Bugs bot, they will pretty much guarantee kill themself at least once if not twice by riding their up rocket straight off the top lol

I think that Assassin passive could probably just be removed altogether, like there are characters better than them in every measurable way that don't have that drawback. The roles seem like they should just be suggestions anyway imo

another minor Velma nerf, but still not an awful change. Worse for her are the changes to the perks, those are the two I use along with triple jump

so it'll literally only apply 1 stack of ice and then nothing until that 1 stack disappears? into the trash it goes i guess

if they reversed the change to the ice slowdown from the previous patch I guess it could situationally be okay, but they didn't

Another Velma nerf?

Wow Morty SUCKS. Feels like he does absolutely nothing despite having a lot of tools.

I dunno. The blaster and grenade need figuring out but the solid melee hits and mobility aren't bad. Also have you tried running around with down-Normal? Maybe people just don't know how to deal yet but it's like Inkling's paint roller at this point.

I'm sure you can set up some cool grenade traps but Morty already feels like he's going to need to work 3 times harder than any other character to get damage and kills.

does anyone know an easy way to rack up assists for missions? seems impossible

Someone online suggested to just play FFA but that didn't seem to work very well for me either. It's been a struggle for me too to get assists.

I guess launching enemies up near the edge and hoping someone kills them? It got me some with bots the other day.

But it's one of the least reliable missions to be able to complete, along with the time-limit wins.

If I get that I'll usually keep it until I've cleared the rest of the missions and if I still haven't randomly cleared it after that I'll reroll it

oh if it's a milestone mission though, RIP

The time limit one is pretty easy to do with bots too if you just want to get it done with in a few minutes.

Is 1v1 better for it?

for time limit yeah. just use someone with a good down spike. And sometimes they don't seem to understand how the platforms on the haunted mansion stage work and will just die

Rick and Morty don't have any unique voice lines, they're all ripped from the show. Maybe coming later because Justin Roiland is too busy making that cringe talking gun game (and a million other things).

Yeah I'm starting to feel that way too. They really just need to disable the ability to activate the invincibility while you're in hitstun. That fixes the whole problem.

Sure it makes him unplayable trash too but big heavy characters always have that problem in these games.

Just played against Mango in duos. We lost the first game and my partner left the game. Got paired up against him again with the same partner and we won the 2nd time. Then my partner left AGAIN. Like bro at least let me finish the set against Mango damn.

Honestly Mango is not very good but he's partnerning with a really good Shaggy.

I was playing as Superman against 2 Shaggys who really liked to double jump then charge Super Saiyan. Using Superman's up special to yeet them off the top was so much fun!

Yeah I caught a Shaggy within ten seconds of a match starting today doing that. We actually won that match so fast I think we didnt get any rewards for it even though nobody SDed

I just played against a 1500 wins Steven in duos and holy shit. You guys better hope nobody starts playing Steven because he's insane in duos. He kept shielding his opponent literally every time I went to hit them. And he had my partner bubbled constantly and killed off the top super easy.

Im a Jake main #1 forever, but Im also a DC tank main now... Wonder Woman and Superman have become my #2 and #3.

Things that are really starting to bug me with this game:

I can't play anyone other than Superman because trying to play my level 4 Morty means I'm still going to get paired against level 30 enemies who are going to demolish me. I get that my MMR is high enough that I should be playing against these players but how am I ever supposed to learn new characters?

I'm also getting a little sick of running into duos who are partied up. I'm relying on random partners with random skill levels and no coordination while people who are partied up are just shredding duos for free. Give me a solo queue duos or something so I don't have to play against people who are teamed.

Maybe ranked fixes these problems and unranked pairs you just based on the character level you're playing instead of MMR but IDK. I don't need to win every game to have a good time but some games are just unbearable. And I want to play other characters without going against people who have 1000 wins on their character!

I have never seen anyone get 450 damage in a match even one time. How are you supposed to do this weekly?

Do a 2v2 against bots, and avoid using heavy knockback moves.

Yeah right after doing that I actually went into FFA with bots and got 546 damage with Reindog on the first try lol.

Yeah just play Reindog. He gets like over 400 damage every match :)

He can't kill worth beans, but that's what you have friend teammate for

Lol I was able to get the wall and neutral special weeklies done just by going into a bot match and spamming.

I gotta imagine these challenges will get a full rework before beta ends.

Which character is the easiest to rack up assists with? By which I mean they have some way to constantly be buffing in a way that counts as an assist without have to worry about cooldowns.

I thought assists in this game are just if you hit somebody into the air and then your teammate rings them out before they touch the ground

So mine says my highest MMR is Finn, who I'm like level 5 with and only briefly used during the free rotation

Anyone know why that would be?

Also my win % is 44% and it says that that puts me in the bottom 7% of players and I don't understand how that math works at all

because bot matches are counted, the average win rate is above 50%

It says I'm in the top 25% of Taz players based on number of wins. Did everyone stop using him after he got nerfed, because there used to be loads of Taz players and me being that high doesn't seem right.
