I bought Iron Giant last week but just never used him and honestly didn't even know what all his moves were--started using him tonight and won almost every match, sometimes with zero falls lol

kinda wish more people paid attention to the benefits they get from picking up his trash, or picking up Velma's evidence if she has the right perk chosen, using Lebron's ball properly, etc. It seems like most people ignore that stuff if they aren't also playing that character.

well they did nerf all the methods to get grey health but yeah velma's evidence and iron giants are still worth picking up

Originally Gizmo and Stripe both had the same character number in the datamined files so people thought they might be 1 character or a costume or something. But the general consensus has changed into Gizmo just being a separate character now.

I'm guessing they added Stripe first to get some more villains into the game. But honestly at the rate they seem to be adding characters it wouldn't make any sense to use Gizmo as a skin for Stripe.

Also Stripe is probably going to be a quick assassin I'm guessing and Gizmo would be a mage or support.

Yeah. It just seems weird to have Stripe and not Gizmo lol...

Guess I'll wait and hope.

crackpot theory: introduce Adam and Stripe this season, make Shazam and Gizmo skins the last rewards on the battle pass for next season

Alternative characters, who could be unique, as skins sounds unlikely if they're adding 2 characters a month. Season 1 battlepass is datamined to end Nov 15th so it looks like the schedule might be

August: Morty
September: Rick and Adam
October: Stripe and Wicked Witch
November: Beetlejuice

I'm guessing those were all supposed to be pushed back slightly because of the delay which would mean 2 characters a month and new battlepass in November. The two leaked characters definitely feel like Halloween characters too.

they have access to like an infinite amount of characters though. I figure they may as well just combine the really similar ones when they can.
Like there are so many DC characters alone that they can potentially add, it could be years before they work their way down the list to Shazam if they dont just make him an alternate skin now.

I havent actually seen Gremlins though, do the Gremlins do different things? If Gizmo actually has enough going on different than Stripe, maybe he will end up as a separate release.

also I was working on the assumption that Gremlins was a basically dead franchise, but looked it up and theres a new animated series coming. Maybe they hold off on Gizmos release to coincide with that.

From a small amount of googling, I believe he is different yes. he doesn't actually turn into a gremlin and uses like a bow or something

Gizmo is very different from Stripe yeah, I wouldn't want to see him as a skin. It wouldn't make sense for the character.

My 2v2 preference is being heavily tested. I don't mind losing, but not when my teammate gets KOed three times in two minutes.

Eh, I have the money and like the game enough to drop the money to not just support it but also to make sure I can just unlock every character immediately with the tickets. The Battle Pass tokens are just a bonus.

Getting real tired of challenges I have no control over.

11 matches tonight and nobody has accepted a rematch once.

And 2 of those my character auto refused a rematch when I hadn't clicked anything.

You can play against bots and they auto rematch. So if you're trying to win a best of 3 set just do that.

Embracer Group just announced they have acquired the IP rights for video games using LOTR and The Hobbit, which may explain why Gandalf was one of the first leaked characters for this game but has yet to be seen in the actual product.

Yeah this guy was teamed up with a level 32 Bugs who was actually pretty good. So maybe he's just getting carried by his friend or something.

Im gonna emphasize the little kid part. Youd be surprised how simple minded kids can be.

Also it could be someone elses account and they just happen to let a little kid play on their account during that moment.

It's completely possible for a level 1 Batman to have 500 games under their belt.

I think my biggest pet peeve is when we win a game in duos and my partner starts teabagging. Like don't associate me with that cringe shit

Teabagging is fine in something like Halo where you dont have a taunt button but everywhere else its wack

I like that this game's version of teabagging is basically forming a suicide pact with your teammate at the end of the match

I appreciate the variety of taunt options in this game but dashdancing strikes me as even more gratuitous than teabagging. Granted I don't know how to, but I wouldn't learn for a game in which its only function is taunting.

My favourite is linking my teammate with my tether and then pulling them offstage to their deaths after the game ends

also kinda scary that that's something that can actually happen if you have a bad enough teammate
