You know nothing else about this game.

This will be EXPERIMENTAL for board 8 with several role mechanics and rules for board 8 being tried to change how the game is played.

All of these will be explained before the randomizer.

I am sure there is a queue. However, I AM the queue. Thank you for understanding.

Ps I am retired from playing on board 8 outside of special occasions. Which means I will be hosting more so get hyped.

1. There will be an anti claim mechanic in the game for the mafia team. If you claim your role, it will make it easier for the mafia to kill you in some fashion if the mafia input it correctly. However if they guess a town member's role wrong there will be a punishment instead.

I always loved this mechanic but didn't really get a chance to engage with it

Also I need a co host who can perform all votal duties.

That game had specific gimmicks that worked in a bubble.

I can cohost but know around the 22nd my time will be greatly limited, also can not promise to be around for most end of days since it coincides with a lot of my work days.

But hey if you want that I've got it!

I think waiting for FFD is kinda dumb at this point because he probably can't host for a while and people are into mafia right now so it's not the time to wait 3 months.

But at the same time I expected faster sign ups given that people are into mafia right now.

This is exactly why I said someone else should host. FFD just doesn't have the time until fall. We can have another 3-4 games before he hosts.

I didn't hesitate but I wonder if people are reluctant because they think Chris wants to host this offsite and have yet to read the topic saying otherwise.

I just wanna play, with whoever's hosting and under whatever rules they want. Having a variety in game structure makes Mafia fun, does it not?

My username for this account was originally AmandaKimmel after the Survivor contestant, who became literally insane (basically LameJokeAlt) and I wanted to dissociate myself with that. So I became BCT, which, yes, sounds like a sandwich and I found that funny at the time (bacon + chives + tomato). "Blue" and "Tear" are also acceptable even though I'm very male >_>

Also, in retrospect, I don't know why anyone would go "Eff 2019" when 2020 and 2021 ended up being 500x worse. 2019 was actually not a terrible year and we know that now lol

2. The game will have no third parties and town will know the number of mafia to start. Additionally, at mylo/lylo votes are locked. Meaning once you place a vote down it cannot be removed.

It is such a tragedy! Eff "____" mafia was actually an annual series hosted by Suprak at the end of each year. it went strong from about 2016 to 2019. But unfortunately 2020 was so absolutely shit that people stopped playing mafia and Suprak has yet to revive his series.

It was great because it was a scheduled event that you could look forward to and had a static place in "The Queue". I miss it ): And it was great because it forced Suprak to host a game each year and he;s a pro host.
