Anyone can raise an accusation, the school can mandate the child get a very invasive genital examination if they want to continue to play in that sport, which will probably cost hundreds of dollars. There's a world of difference between conducting a medical exam for the sake of a child's health (even just as a thinly-veiled effort to avoid liability) and looking at a kind's junk to make sure they're on the sports team you want them on. This is, quite unambiguously, an attempt to keep trans kids in the closet for fear of enduring such humiliation (particularly where I can almost guarantee the results of this inspection aren't exactly going to be kept confidential, given the very public immediate consequences). At best, that's the misguided belief that being closeted means kids aren't really trans and the "gay agenda" has been successfully thwarted by keeping them cis. More commonly, it's the attitude that trans people are disposable enough that driving children to suicide by forcing them into the closet is a good thing because it means one less trans adult, and that's just disgusting. --- This is my signature. Its only the few exceptions to that rule that get plastered all over social media. And when it is decided what is and isnt appropriate for youth sports it should be the schools and sports organizations and FUCKING PARENTS that decide what is best for their kids. As of today, only women may compete in swimming competitions via the world governing body FINA. Sounds like cycling (UCI) is planning to do the same.
