That said I already mentioned that Arti, if scumflavor scanner, could have just scanned someone else and realized that flavorscanners also get a pokemons Category (which is listed on sites like Bulbapedia)

Either way Arti has to be a flavor scanner (well technically someone else on a scumteam could also be if scum-he is not)

I am mulling this over. If you don't think arti is scum who are better candidates? Open question. Lea has answered this already.

To get back to Arti's posts which Chris mentioned.
I guess he likes Arti going after Ben in there. And I admit I did enjoy the part where he said he got annoyed with Ben.
But on the other hand he was very quiet about Sheep, who actually had the spotlight at the moment. And he even seemed to defend Sheeps claim from Red a little.

I almost lost all that good will a bit when Arti just straight up forgets Ben day2 and goes after Lea and Isquen instead. But halfway he does bring Ben up again.. though that partially seems to only be because Ben was getting heat from Lea. (whom he at least unvoted as well)

So I can at least say Arti has one towny post. (well one towny opinion)

I do agree with much of what Lea has said here. I think it's in line with the initial questioning I had (which I later rescinded after Chris pointed out that Corrik had a direct claim on Arti).

But much like plum and Mzero have stated I think there's far more arguments than just motive / this exact play to suspect Arti. He was already looked at as the next option after Ben as early as Day 2 with direct suspicion from Corrik before any of this happened. I think this claim has to make you feel much better about him to get away from what's already levied against him/Lopen, and I'm not really sure it does that for me.

Lastly couple side notes: JC and Scare are both overly focused on me in their limited content thus far. Something to keep an eye on.

Also I think Abacus is likely town now. He's asking the questions I expect him to ask and I think him pointing out the potential trap from Isquen is heavily pro-town for him.

Honestly looking back Arti's efforts for this day havent even been that great. But he did promise to do a readup, so i am curious to see where that leads.

why? it was pokemon Night. the miller claim came out during Star wars day, didn't it?

Because a miller claim could still maybe be tested if the pokemons name doesnt fit with a star wars character that makes sense as a miller..
But then I dont think Isquen even claimed flavor yet.

Also I am not even sure Isquen made clear on which day he was a miller..

Okay the Mzero ISO didnt take up much time at all
I can safely say I dont think any of his posts are supertown.

To recap:
Day1 he said Corrik was his usual self, Chang was his usual townself (but has never seen scumChang before)
He reminisced a bit, and on the 2nd half of Day1 Came back to read stuff before quickly settling to plop down a vote on Isquen and go to sleep (I guess).

Day2 his first post was to bring up the mewtwo thing and laugh at it. He also said he knew Reds pokemon claim was a joke. He also didnt buy Corriks claim against Arti.
He then showed up again later to incriminate Chang and Isquen in case Ben flipped scum.

Day 3 he questioned Ulti's posts and insisted on his day1 read of Isquen.

Now I have to backtrack here since the way I summarized this it feels as if Mzero forgot Isquen was his biggest suspect for day2.
So I will ask him, using this post as a base. (and this is less a gotcha and more a curiosity for now)

Ohey red, I just finished my ISOon you and its a strange thing to consider that you had said and done even less than Mzero.
If it hadnt been for today, I would have called you certain scum. Since on days 1 and 2 all you did was comment on other ongoing topics.. I think the only original opinion you gave was the one on me. And you can understand why I was not impressed by that.

It seems like you are trying to give your own input now, but I would like to see a lot more.

Massive red flag here. Why the hell should Ulti have claimed in this situation? That's ridiculous, especially when wayyy too many people claimed on Day 2.

I'd normally pass this off as poor logic, but suggesting a claim when Ulti barely had any heat on him compared to the active volcano that was Ben is such a massive, "Why would a townie ever suggest that?" moment.

I agree with the assessment, and frankly I think that's the most reasonable situation. Suppose Arti was scum flavor cop (which is likely given what we established earlier with the Pokmon subcategory thing, barring Ulti's recent ramblings of how that's not right). The town flavor cop just claimed out of the blue, countering his own convenient fakeclaim. Well, now he either has to commit to the claim or come up with a new, believable claim in a game where the flavor is so intricate. Two town-sided flavor cops might not be unreasonable, right? But waiting to claim until prompted might look worse than just claiming now. You're screwed either way, but perhaps the absurdity might make people do a double take and back off.

And it seems to be working if Chris is reconsidering the Arti lynch. I don't think it's smart to back off Arti right now. Note that although he claimed his Star Wars flavor, he never claimed the role. Perhaps that's a good thing in some perspectives, but when the flavor cop claim looks so poor next to Hb's claim, you would think claiming your Star Wars role would add credibility rather than just finding a portmanteau and calling it a day.

But also, if Arti flips town (he won't), we gain a lot of info on who kept pushing his lynch and who tried defending him. There's no way Hb is lying, and although two town-sided flavor cops may be plausible, it's not likely. I think Arti is the right call to make here. It's the safest option rather than gambling on someone with a weaker case.

Honestly i spent all of day 1 at work and day 2 I was kind of exhausted and when i could be here i saw ben had suicided and kind of chose to just relax.

Although I gave Ulti a hard time earlier in the day, I don't think it's worth pressuring him further until Arti flips. If Arti is scum, Ulti is very likely town sans any convoluted bussing shenanigans. If Arti is town (unlikely), Ulti could still go either way (in which case grilling is A-OK).

Unless I'm just stupid, I don't think Arti would've wasted a scum-sided flavor scan on his own teammate, and I think it's pretty evident that he or a teammate has a flavor scan of some sort. So if Ulti is Scum, then Arti or theoretical scum flavor cop teammate would not have used the scan on Ulti. Unless Arti had a supportive Scum ability that targets teammates, Arti would have no reason to target Ulti, and that could easily be exposed by a Pokmon tracker role. Granted, he could've been bluffing about targeting Ulti to bait out a tracker, which is... not unreasonable, given how much of a suicide run this whole flavor cop claim has been.

This is without taking into consideration Ulti's thing about Arti definitely lying about his scan and its results. I'm not gonna elaborate further since Ulti is concerned about getting modkilled over it, but I mean, why would Ulti try to bury his own teammate like that when there's a chance of survival there?

I just don't see a likely situation where Arti and Ulti are both scum.

It's not bad, it's just straight up wrong. I stated that I got Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokemon in my scan and Hb literally confirmed he got the exact same thing a few posts later.
