Why would Ben target Chris as a neighbor night one, Lea? Of all people it is suicidal to target Chris with such an ability I just don't see why he would do it. He wouldn't be that sloppy and out himself in that position.

Arti was kind of not doing great before this, but to just examine the claim

His foundation for selecting ulti was wrong, red flag as I expect arti to actually think about his night actions (but fits my narrative that they dodnt scan ulti and this was a last second switch that they wanted to say decently early so they could try to discuss it)

Also him saying 'he figured corrik was lying' when the claim is about him is just... bonkers

On the other hand there have been things I have liked from arti. Maybe he will come in today and blow my mind. But when you do something odd and it doesn't make sense with the reasoning you give its like ... yeah

Like let's do some roleplay. I am town scanner and Lea you can be the hot dame that enters my detective office.

I have a list of people I think are scum

Ben
Kirby
Corrik
Ulti
Mzero

I am a flavor scanner. Ben just died, great. I know contradicting people would be really useful. I remember ulti claimed something. Did someone else claim? I should double check. I should think about my night action since everyone is suspicious of me. I want to get this right. I don't want to die tomorrow for fucking this up. So I look over things again to make sure. I am prudent.

This to me should be the very basic level of expectation from a member of town.

Ben and Sheep also answered questions from me badly. It was an instrumental reason why I led their lynches. Arti is now in the position of answering a series of questions from me badly. There were whispers of doubt in favor of sheep and Ben as well. There's always whispers. I think it is fair to give voice to them but if the pattern of this game holds so far the whispers will fall quiet when arti dies.

And if he is town then we learn a lot too. It's just really, to me, his thinking is unacceptable as being genuine.

Why would scum arti post he is flavor cop 12 minutes after hb with the exact same result.

He was suspected but not pinned down. Reading back over page 1 of topic 2 Ben arti really really doesn't feel scum on scum bussing. But sheep ended up bussing Ben so he had Ben's permission likely. But arti feels like he earned his Ben suspicion in topic more than sheep ever did.

So let me throw out setup meta as trash. Why would scum arti claim this specific thing. He wasn't trapped into a role like Ben was. He neighbored me so he had to claim that once he neighbored me. 12 minutes arti strolls in and claims.

Why

To make scum buddy ulti look really great on flip? A distant dream of a possibility

12 minutes doesn't seem like enough time to panic and rethink plans.

Hmm.

I don't think not knowing the exact scum motive is imperative but not having a ball park idea is a bit concerning on top of his Ben interaction.

Gosh those answers were not what I wanted to hear when I asked the questions though.

My first thought was scum just wants to get through today with as little damage as possible and (try to) kill Chris tonight, thought Arti was toast either way and tried to stagnate the day. Obviously I've been going back and forth on it, for much of the same reasons you laid out. Gun to my head he's just scum though

He did nothing day one, and his day two 'read' on his vote on Corrik was complete garbage reasoning when he revealed it, feel like he was trying to guide someone onto the list to trap them. Also, there's the fact that he instantly believed Corrik when Corrik snuck in with another one of his fakeclaims, even after the vote he made.

So in this post in topic 5 arti makes it clear he doesn't like ulti and also calls corrik's claim 'another one of his fake claims' which sounds much better than what he told me last night from a mindset viewpoint.

Also arti seems to be making good points throughout the topic to the point that I am questioning why I suspected him as much. I think I may have just been so convinced of Ben that future day scum were placeholders lol

I'm talking about as little damage as possible today specifically. A protection role is dead on Star Wars night and Chris has been pretty dominant so far, so I can see them trying to lay low today. Maybe Arti wasn't toast, I wasn't here in the moment and read the whole day in one hit, so the timeline might be mixed up in my head. It seems like Arti's seat was pretty hot even yesterday though. and I think stagnation benefits scum quite a bit so I guess we just disagree on that!

I didn't weigh in on Ben at all. Or Sheep. It's not uncommon for me to not weigh in on things!
And I actually did weigh in on Arti, you even mentioned it lol
the Arti lynch was pretty established by the time i got here, and I didn't have a strong town read on him or anything to add. And when I had something to add (in response to Chris), I added it

Okay this is a long sequence, but its about all thats notable about Lopens play at the same time.

Changmas called Ben standard in topic 1, Lopen questioned this and when Chris voted Changmas for it, Lopen was eager to help with his own vote.
A while later, Lopen had to go. His last act was telling Kirby 'No U' for daring to say he would support Lopens lynch and voting Kirby.
What I find very interesting here is Sheep was defending Lopens when Hb said he didnt like Lopens vote. (and trying to direct HB back to Plum at the same time. More fuel for the Plum is town fire)

But all in all I dont see any Lopen posts that I can call town. He seemed to coast mostly and whatever reads he gave he wasn't too serious about.

I thought it was pretty obvious I was talking about the rest of the team, not Arti. I'm saying Arti made a suicidal claim to stall the day so the rest of the team didn't have to do much, under the assumption Arti was dying anyway. And I'm not boasting, just saying it doesn't mean much, especially for your premise of Arti being town.

the day is like 12 hours old, and really only like 6 hours old for me. What's the rush? And it's not like I have any ideas to solidify it. It's mostly a WIFOM argument

Oh Isquen did have that weird moment where he unvoted Arti as soon as he replaced Lopen.

This may be worth investigating if Arti is indeed scum.
Though Isquens reason for voting Lopen was always misguided at best.

I know it can be a problem, but I don't tend to comment on things unless I have something new to add. I didn't have anything to say about Arti that hadn't been said, really. Until I defended him assuming Corrik was lying. As for my reads, I'll say it again. Isquen is scum. Ulti probably is too. The whole "I'm not a pokemon oh wait I missed the PM tee hee" and then talking about how scum would know about the switch in advance reeks tbh

So topic 3, I could see Arti voting Ben as a soft bus/ alternative to the sheep lynch. Im positive scum had to know about transformations before town did otherwise the safe list would have been suicide.

I could see Arti thinking sheep getting lynched is bad, so voting Ben is a win win.

I dont have feedback on topic 2. His post there is seemingly whatever. Im actually cooler on this caught him lying argument because I forget my reads sometimes as town as the game progresses and I get distracted so I dont know if he actually would have forgotten as town.

But again this doesnt matter because there are 3 other good arguments against him, not including if he is town we either have two Pokmon flavor scanners or scum claimed Pokmon flavor scanner for no reason. Not impossible, but another odd thing in a laundry list of odd things
