Playing Ritual Beasts in the fusion festival. Sucks not having access to Ulti-Kimunfalcos or most of the synchros that I normally run, but I can deal with it. Also working on a Shaddoll-Subterror deck in the mean time.

RB is really good in this event. Most people want to go 2nd and don't have any prep for dealing with Wind monsters usually. RB wants to go first, and 1-2 Steeds with a bunch of bodies on the board is generally just a win. You can now also protect steeds via the Lord of whats his face in the recent pack

How was her attack decreased?

I know atk/def modification is a really wacky corner of the rules that result in some really unintiuitive results. >_>

My verre increase her atk/def by 1000

Main phase 2 my opponent used blackwing#2 to half my verre at

My turn, verre got 1250 atk instead of usual 1000

Ahhh

So what probably happened was the effect said "attack becomes half their attack", which sets it to a static value. Once that happens, it ignores any previous gains/losses.

This kind of trickery is how Diamon Crab King was able to get around Qliphort Towers.

Okay so this made me laugh.

Opponent was doing Tenyi combos. On their fifth summon, they saw the "priority aura" switch to my side. They immediately scooped lmao

I messed up my Dragonlink combo at the beginning and I couldn't be any more ashamed.
Then I remember that I don't even begin the combo with Seyfert because I don't have it....

I...will just go back to the short and sweet one that I can do without Seyfert...

edit2: lost against Despia-Dogmatika deck. I made many mistake, too.
It hurts to see Borrelsword getting destroyed right after he's summoned.

Thats why Shuraig and Tri-Brigade were so good. A non targeting banish gets through a lot of protections. The counter play is that you know its going to happen, due Revolt being pretty telegraphed if not outright revealed.

I went to the dark side guys. I made Swordsoul. The game pretty much helped me along. I got the cards I needed off packs. The deck is so good, its taking a bit to learn but I do like it a lot.

I want to just go back to Thunder Dragons but thats too easy.

Nice. Getting a Royal of a card you really like is one of the most satisfying things in this game.

Spend CP for 2-3x Starliege(sp?) Seyfert, or spend 1k gems to buy two of Rage of Cipher structure for Seyfert (which cards you cannot dismantle)?

On that note, how is the deck based on Galaxy-Eyes Dragon?

If you can spend gems then spend those. Even if you cant dismantle. Use the CP for things the gems cant get you guaranteed. Thats how Ive always looked at it.

It's only an SR, so unless you specifically need more of the other cards (particularly the UR's) in the same structure deck, I'd say just use SR material instead of gems. It's a lot easier to come by. If it was a UR we were talking about, then the structure deck would be the better option.

The thing is that I'm missing some stuff as well if I consider a lil bit nerfed Dragonlink.

• 2 Wyverbursters
• 1 more Chaos Space (only have one, the guide recommends 3)
• 1-2 Seyferts (assuming I'm buying one Rage of Cipher structure)
• 1 more Quick Launch (RIP pulling from the pack gave me 2)

And my Dragonmaid is still missing one Hospitality (and one more Chamber but I can live with that).

And other cards I may missed.

That deck is strangely light in UR for the main deck, and most of them come from one pack, too. I'm incredibly interested. Plus Galaxy-Eyes looks rad.

There's a datamined Dragonmaid structure deck that's coming at some point in the future, so I'm not crafting any more Dragonmaid cards or making a full Dragonmaid deck until that comes out. I would recommend you do the same.

maybe its just the deck I am using and the fact that Im only doing the fusion festival right now, or the people I have been playing suckbut I am not really worried about Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer. I went up against a few of them and they do not give me much trouble. I am running a straight Shaddoll deck. Just keep recycling the dragon and bouncing it back to the deck.

Also the best feeling was spot removing it like 2-3 times, dude finally brings it out from the GY when I am all out of removalsjust so I can superpoly it. Dude raged instantly.

Blue eyes decks may be my new favorite deck to fight with my Shaddolls tho. I went up against a few and just played defense and stall the whole time in all of them and none of the other guys were able to get through. Was super fun just trolling the fuckers lol.

Yeah that's cuz it's hard to get multiple threats on the board on the Fusion Fest. DPE is generally considered great because of everything else that's a big threat. But you can even disrupt scythe play if you have a non-respondable thing.

I barely have any outs for DPE in my deck.
Card is insane and hilariously cheap to run, and Fusion Destiny is not a brick (well, drawing two may be).

Just run Called By The Grave. It's pretty much useful in everything so there's not much reason not to.

If not Called By, a lot of cheaper alternatives exist like SR rarity D.D.Crow, which also serves as a dark type winged beast fodder if you'd ever need that, which several decks can take advantage of, or Ghost bell. There are a lot more than I can think of tbh, but DPE is pretty good in that he at least has counters that don't involve gimping the deck.

If you also Kaiju or Super Poly him, he can't get recursion effect off. If your deck can benefit from carrying a bunch of Kaijus, it's pretty worth it.

When you put a fusion monster in Extra but you forgot to put the fusion material in the deck.
I spent a good 30 seconds wondering why the fusion option didn't come out.

I've been trying to play Crusadia OTK in Ranked, and I don't think I drew more than one of the fourteen Crusadia monsters in my deck for six games in a row. And when I finally did, Equimax became a rock.

I really wonder what's going on with the matchmaking algorithm. Despia and Swordsoul are pretty much the only things I see.

Though I did run into someone running Ice Barrier, which everyone says is a joke deck but they caught me hella off guard with some weird Water XYZ that's like a psuedo DPE.

Ice Barriers is an archetype full of wack ass floodgates lol. But they have one of the best searchers and have enough modern support to actually do something for once. Water types also have a bunch of weird shit that's strong but not used cuz it's water locked or something.

Also had a duel against Synchrons where the guy awkwardly summoned like 4 synchrons and scooped lmao

Shaddolls are one of my fav archetypes ever.

REALLY want to make a Venom and Vennominaga deck but Konami too scared to give them support. Vennominaga may be the most impossible to get rid of card in the game.

I've experimented with Shaddolls in the the past I splashed a few into my old lightsworn deck this is the most I've used them in My Skull servant deck. Although i still think my main Skull servant deck plays a tad better .

That being said when the Shaddoll Skull servant gets That Grass it's amazing

Are these fusion bonus packs juiced? I just got a SR and an UR in one pack and an have been pulling other SRs and URs out of them often.

Is rebellion a good card? I packed two back to back and I think I am gonna slide it in to a couple of my decks

Okay I packed a UR penguin Brave so I decided to look at the rest of the archetype (if you want to call it that) and one of them card is a SR, everything else is dirt cheap.

Guess I am making a penguin deck for fun lol

and it turns out some of the great penguins are not in the game yet and are likely coming in the same pack as the Floowandereeze cards I am waiting on. Fuck.

Drawing both Ash, HFD, a trap, and a spell that needs a monster to be activated, going first.
Then an archetype fusion spell without any monster to use it.
Then a dragon form dragonmaid.

Super Poly is aggravating. The fact that I can't do anything against it is making it worse.

I saw my Sheou being kidnapped. The only thing that would make it more complete would be if I stretched my hand towards the screen screaming Sheou's name. Unfortunately, I did not, so it lessen the impact.

Too many janky ass anti-meta decks running around and annoying me. But Heavy Storm Duster saved my ass against Lord of the Heavenly Prison.

I should probably run TT instead but Imperial Order keeps coming up too lol

On topic of this, how many above 40 would people run if given the choice? I want to settle at 42 (because it is the answer to everything) but just curious. I know Dragonlink goes above 40 up to low 40+.

Fyi my IRL Tenyi Swordsoul is at 48 and runs fine.

However my Branded Tri-brigade is at 40 and runs amazingly.
