Sky Striker DPE is bonkers lol. I can go first or second thanks to it. DPE also allows to bring Raye if Area Zero is sent to the graveyard which is insane

You absolutely could and probably should. It really is the wild wild DPE show right now. Who ever can make the most consistent deck while also having it as a counter measure is what will be winning out.

If you can shove 4 extra cards into your main, DPE and possibly Verte in your extra deck then you def should.

I just did one of the best/worst misplay I have ever done.
I feel like killing myself.

I've done plays where like I literally told myself the sequence of events 3 times in my head, and then I immediately played the wrong card on the first of the sequence and auto-lost

Own up to it. What was the misplay?

• Tenyi effect to 1st/3rd/5th column
• Usual BMD stuff to REDMD, summon Armillyre (one arrow pointing at Tenyi)
• Armillyre effect summon Red-Eyes
• Xyz into Flare Metal
• Boot Sector to summon Tracer, kill Armillyre with Tracer to fetch Rokket Recharger
• Synchro into Borreload Savage, equip Armillyre (3.7k ATK, 2 negate count)
• Set Imperm

• I did not place Tenyi in the aforementioned column, robbing me Flare Metal;
• I destroyed Boot Sector instead of Armillyre, turning Borreload Savage into Blue-Eyes.

I don't have any copies of Imperm, so for now I'm just using 3 Veilers. I also swapped out the Twin Twisters that I was using before for Cosmic Cyclone, since a lot of backrow decks are going to start using Lord of the Heavenly Prison now to save their backrow from being destroyed.

I do have a question though: when you win the coin flip with this deck, do you choose to go first or second? I know Sky Striker was primarily a going second deck before and you mentioned that DPE makes them better than before at going first, but is the deck better at going first or second now?

Fluders are ok. They're able to pull off gimmicky wins but are extremely weak to Artifact Lancea / stuff that keeps you from banishing.

I was playing a guy at locals who basically had to end his turn each time I responded with Lancea. Although a different guy I didn't duel went 5-0 that same night with them.

One of their main cards is in BACH though so they wont be at their best for another few months.

I just met a DPE and its shenanigans convinces me to make one.
Looks like a Swordsoul DPE with Adamancipator synchro thrown in.

Correct. I never really liked DPE in swordsoul personally but with Swordsouls at full power it's hard to justify leaving him out. I have 2 builds I can show you on my lunch break. It's my IRL deck so I'm pretty comfortable with it.

I just fight another person with the same Swordsoul using Adamancipator Draglite second turn, but my draws were better this time (and not being negated) and when I Xyz a Big Eye, they scooped (either out of boredom or because of Big Eye).

I bet that person also has DPE, too.

I don't use Swordsoul, though, but #DPEverything is legit.

It just got better going first now so I choose to go first and try to get Verte as soon as possible which can be done by hornet drones or Raye/Roze. Another reason is because you can use Artifact Ignition to directly set Scythe from the deck to the spell/trap zone and by destroying one spell/trap card we control. I personally think going first is better than second because some decks like Drytron/Synchros like to have multiple negates to stop our play so we can actually go first and disrupt their play as much as possible

Yah, both of the players I faced just now used almost the same path, using that Lv 10 Swordsoul synchro that increase/decrease ATK-DEF for every banished card.

I'm confused why it wasn't Baronne tbh.

What about if I'm not running the artifact stuff to Scythe Lock though? I don't even know what cards I need for it aside from the Scythe itself or what I would take out for them.
