What the guy did was wrong and he should face the full consequences the law allows. That said, what Dave and his security did, beating the guy repeatedly after he was already restrained, was also wrong. Dave can't talk about excessive force by police then lite a guy up like that. Dude will probably sue and Dave will have to settle.

Did you really just compare this to police using excessive force?! Ok but when police do it, people don't go home; they get buried. When police do it, the victim is robbed of their freedom. When police do it, there are little to no repercussions. Nobody beats up the police for tackling someone. Dave's guys didn't have tasers, body armor, batons and fcking guns.

They could have easily killed the guy. One kick lands on a certain spot in a certain way and he's gone. Cops should face repercussions for doing it, and so should these guys.

I was expecting his special to be awful but I didn't think it was bad and I heard his points. He kinda accurately called out the exact response he was gonna get. Can you post a link of someone purposely killing somebody with a punch, not multiple punches, not them hitting their head on something else after getting punched not the punch being some star crossed critical hit. Probably, as that would be made obvious in the articles coming out. However, they might just not have gotten the chance because they got the shit kicked out of them.

I think the lesson to be learned from this is if you plan to do a statement-tackle of someone, fully expecting to get arrested but willing to make your point regardless, dont carry a weapon. That fucker is looking at significantly more serious charges, and if they had no intention of using the knife, they added years to their sentence for no reason.

Michael Richards' career didn't die because of that. It led to the next event that did kill it, but it wasn't terminal.
