I can personally say that transitioning may perhaps be the most rewarding thing i've ever done, but I started when I was 18 and i've been more fortunate (in regards to transitioning) than many other trans people... I "pass" very well and have had many different men IRL (despite historically not leaving my house much) hit on me, and i've had a mostly supportive family experience. A lot of trans people don't get that lucky. That being said... you do you.
