Actually I just haven't really watched any anime or engaged in anything anime-adjacent (VNs etc) lately so I haven't really had anything to add to the thread. I have been just about to jump back in and start watching some series again though. The last few nights I've been meaning to finally start Non Non Biyori S3, and that Bastard show on Netflix looks interesting. I also bought all the volumes of Mieruko-chan that are out which I've been meaning to do since the anime ended. That is weird at first glance about the Kaiji dub, but I would bet you anything it has to do with the popularity of Squid Game worldwide. And apparently it's pretty popular in Japan so if Japanese popularity isn't getting it more anime then I doubt more overseas fans would do the trick, but I can dream. The second half of the show even threw in episodes detailing foreman Otsuki's daily outings on the surface. Series definitely gave me a better appreciation for the characters that seemed like nothing but evil bastards in the main Kaiji series. And as I said before, as an office worker, I have a deep connection to a lot of the storylines lol. Kagetani was the mask villain dude right? I vaguely remember his loli partner being my favorite. My memories of the show arent too great, I watched that as it aired and I think that was like 2013. Watched Shadows House. If that was the ED it doesnt quite live up to the first one. Maybe it will grow on me. Also I imagine Barbie will become an ally, it seems to be focusing on her quite a bit.
