550 Omega has definitely been overtaken by power creep. I realized after I started the fight I forgot to equip Quina's astra USB, and my middle three characters got hit with the blind/confuse attack, two of them died, I couldn't refresh my chain... but I still pretty easily just crushed him with DPS.

Hmm I guess I could probably kill Biomega with just Edgar AA and Leila (water) AA, but if I might as well wait until next week.

Two more days until Bio lab, did everyone get the farming you cared about done for this group? I got all my 8% accessories which is the one I care the most about because of how combining works. (You can always just keep combining weapons and armor and taking the better passive, but with accessories you need to remember if you have 8% or not and check each one until you get it). I still only have a 4% armor for Delita but that's not that big of a deal, especially since he already easily caps with no dyad.

I got 5/5/8 for everyone. I actually use a pretty decent number of characters in this group (Balthier/Papalymo/Terra/Delita)

The next two groups have four repeats each so they should be relatively easy to farm

I got 5/5/8 for that characters I care about this group. Missing Jack/Refia/Zell 5% armors but meh, I never use those characters anyway. (plus I tried Jack against Snow Giant before and he couldn't get the job done.) But man what's really killing my motivation is that we need a free hero artifact expansion ASAP. It's so annoying having to get rid of some like every day just do the 3 daily dungeons.

Since there's a new Labyrinth this week I wanted to shake off the rust and get a new sub30, and I got it on Armor Constrict thanks to wait mode being fixed and Rubi's Dual awakening!

I'm closer to a complete group than I've ever been before. I'm only missing Refia's armor, which is at 4%. Everyone else is 5/5/8.

I need to go back to S1-3 now that we have Wait 2 for those, but my motivation to spend hours on those fights, only to get 20 AL+ is limited at best. Especially when I could create another 60+ hero abilities at this point.

Yeah the rewards for sub30ing bosses right now is really underwhelming now that anima lens+ has become yet another overabundant currency. Still sub30ing is for completionism's sake and to fell good about pulling recent tech.

Dream Select's are tonight too! I was thinking of getting Delita's awakening but I did a test run with his hero gear and got the sub30 on FFT Bahamut anyway!

Now I'm not sure what to pic, unless Quina's sync is there. Maybe Qustis awakening? Probably should wait and see if I can beat Green Dragon without it.

Alright I got the sub30 on FF9 Bahamut! This was still pretty rough due to Bahamut gimmicks and timing Zidane's sync so the instant turns aren't wasted while the wall is up, also another problem was trying to use Quina's realm chain to overwrite the last phase's full break when I was just better off just muscling through it with the high chain count from earlier. Also I really underestimated Freya, she hits really hard now! (though those could be the dragonking and nexus boards doing that)

That just leaves FF6, FF10, FF11 and core Dragonkings to sub30. I'll try FF6 tomorrow when Kefka's hero gear comes out though I'm still iffy because of 6 million HP.

Quina's G+ still isn't lensable in the wave that just happened but it is available from fest stamps in the September fest.

I think I'm probably going to skip this round of dream selects since there's nothing there that excites me that much. The only content I need to clear is XI and Core dragon king and none of these picks seem like a silver bullet for that.

Zeid sync is there isn't it? An ATB sync for 11 isn't a silver bullet?

Also Bio Nexus is in a few hours, oof. I hope my bio team can handle a day 1 win even though it's not much. Edgar sync 1/awakening/AOSB, Thief awakening 1/2 and USB and Quistis sync/dyad (and the sync isn't good because the first command has a long cast time) At least Edgar gets his 5 hit HA tonight too.

I hope I don't have to do a pull on the banner or dream select Quistis awakening.

Ugh I thought they said this boss was easy. I can get him down to 10% but I get maze gate'd because I run out of cap breaks.

Got Emperor's dark awakening with the book, that's nice I guess but I don't use him for dark anymore.

Damn I had to dream select Quitis' awakening to beat this guy, but I got Braska's dyad from the grab bag so that made it worth it!

And I only beat this guy through luck, geez where was the talk of this guy being easy coming from? Even with lolbio into consideration this boss is legit hard.

I don't have his awakening, so by itself it wouldn't do much. Plus I don't care about him so don't want to spend money on his relics. I'm fine with waiting until fest and the ticket refresh.

Got Tellah's awakening with the free pull... it's new so that's not bad.

If you already have two characters with two cap breaks then a third DPS character with one cap can suffice. Especially if it's a ATB sync. Plus his USB has chases so you can use that in phase 1 then use the sync in phase 2. He also self buffs his attack so he breaks cap easily on phase 2/3 Dragonking and his sync command 2 is an overstrike to break King's Rage.

I agree Green Dragon is kinda tough. On the 580 I got 30.10 on my first try so I'm going to have to do that one again eventually. And first try on the hard one I died at 7% from a OHKO attack (not his dead end I don't think, but there was a countdown). The mixed team makes it tough, I would go all physical except Quistis has the only reusable chain so it's not really an option. (If I had Leila's and Edgar's I could just use them once each, but I only have Leila's).

You could maybe try using the RW chain for one use? I've used that successfully for a few labs (albeit with magic teams).

Green Dragon hits really hard that you probably need wall though.

One good thing though about Quistis is that her HA is instant cast which makes her easier to work in a mixed team so you don't need allegro.

Pretty easy win after I figured out the opening survival. To be fair, my Bio is probably way more stacked than most:
Marcus USB2+AASB
Kefka Dyad+Sync+AASB2
Quistis AASB1+AASB2+CSB+Doomtrain
That's 6 BDLs, which is kinda ridiculous for an element that's as rare as bio.

My two proudest moments were
1) Using Doomtrain to avoid the first elemental diffusion to keep damage high
and
2) Mog's Sync cmd1 followed by Kefka's Dyad finisher for 2039,999 + 99,999

I really wish there were two bio fights, like all the other elements. They'd have to give us a reusable physical chain though.

Got 650 Green Dragon on the second try. 43.75 so not a great time, but good enough for now.

Finally a decent Tactics ticket. I have Ramzas AASB as well, so now Im not sure how to build my team for the DK. Delita (SASB, AASB) is a given; I was hoping to get more stuff for TGC (have his dyad) or Agrias (have her LBO, has an imperil HA), both of whom have lensable AASBs. Delita and TGC both have 100% crit on their AASBs which devalues Ramzas sync as well.

Got Edgar DAASB and Quistis LBGuardian on banner 1, and 100 gemmed Kefka's Sync on banner 2.

Gives me a couple more poison options, outside of AASBs for Thief, Thancred, and Quistis.

Damn, I guess I'll take it for now and wait for Strago's cap break glint to be lensable or if I get another cap break for Kefka. Don't want to waste hours gambling with characters with 25% dualcast chance LMRs just for some anime lens+.

I did a pull on the FFX because the non-Kimahri characters on this banner are all great for me.

Very happy with that. It's literally the only DAASB I didn't really want, but the other 2 relics will be useful, and if I had to get a Kimahri relic, I'm glad it's the best one.

I'm tempted by Lulu/Rikku, but I have Rikku's dyad already so that's only 3/12 relics.

I actually have Kimahri's SA/AA1 so in principle his dual would be good for me as well, but I really don't want to use him since dragoons are so annoying to use in this game and I don't really like him as a character.

I was excited to get a mogball on my 100 gem pull, but it was Yuna's LBO. I will be pulling on Sunday's Rydia/Master/Freya banner.

I agree with everyone here that this fight was not as easy as I had been led to believe; I was one turn away from maze gate at the end despite everyone having two BDL (one of which was a DA). My main issue was that Quistis was underbuffed, so she was only doing like 15k a hit most of the fight.

Used the ticket on XI again (I guess I should really be saving these for the refresh at this point?)
