Ended up a boring shitty mess with a mary sue for the lead. 7 was a flashy worse new hope, 8 was boring and pointless, and 9 was just fucking dumb. I don't know why they had to get a hard on for planet killing weapons and that being the only thing they can think of, but it's fucking boring. I hate starkiller base and them somehow shrinking death star guns down to ship size in 9 was fucking awful. I could've forgiven episode 7 if 8 and 9 had gone somewhere interesting, but they didn't. I'd rather watch the prequels any day of the week than the sequels.
