Scare has been skating by on getting some early town cred and has since done almost nothing. Han has been noncommittal. Has he even voted this entire game? I have high expectations of town Han but he hasn't really pushed anything, just bounced around. Like, he's called some people scum and stuff but hasn't really put any weight behind anything

agreed on changmas/Muyo. Death I've expressed my thoughts on, and Corrik is honestly almost impossible to read because he acts nearly identical as either alignment. A scan or PoE is your best bet. If I had to guess the other two scum are Scare and Han.

As for why no one responded to changmas, maybe they were distancing, or they've just left him out to dry

I really thought Chris was town but this recent revelation kinda leaves me shook. Obv he'd want to protect doctor but why claim anything at all?

Pretty sure enough people know Im torn at this point for MZero to get lynched first. And by the time all that happens, Red is getting Rule 1d anyway.

I am annoyed but I promised someone important to me that I would try to be less angry going forward in life. I was like genuinely proud I made it to today alive as doctor. I was like, really pleased and accepting I may be scanned but I thought "well it was a good run, but if sheep scans me I can just come clean and get back to work." It is well known I lie as town, and it is well known I like playing mind games with scum. This is very disappointing for me.

I kindaaaa agree? Or it would at least make Ulti more of a focus in my thought process for potential scum. But also we are always lynching Muyo first in this case because the Death vote D1 on Ulti feels so bad for any scum team. I would, however, say that if Muyo, Corrik or yourself are scum, it looks slightly less bad because of the late votes. I doubt Ulti is scum with MZero (who wasn't around EoD) because of this, and probably not Scare either (although that would be less predictable because of timezones)

I think I would lean more toward the former tbh. By far the strangest thing to me is that he sat with his vote on Corrik all of Day 2 even though he was pressuring me the whole time. And then handwaves it off saying basically "i haven't seen anything from corrik to take my vote off"

If they don't have a strongman, they likely either tried to kill Tidus or Han N1 anyway, cause they really had to get Death's extra shot off. Probably still Han, but it strikes me as odd they would shoot the same dude two nights in a row if so.

If Muyo is scum, the only people with the ability to coach that fake claim is honestly me, Scare, or Ulti. No one else in this game would fit the mold to coach that. And if Muyo was coached to that claim, I am looking directly at Tidus as well. Because his claim is the only thing backing him up as town and a vote steal that happened only night 1.

I'm reading Han, and he more or less thinks the remaining scum team is three of Red, MZero, Chris, and Muyo. Possibly all four.

I'm of the mind Muyo is host confirmed town, so let's just lynch the other three in whatever order and kill Muyo if the game isn't over by then. Everyone else is too town, by behavior or role, to bother with.

Hmm, thinking about it I actually might agree here. It's specifically the "Outsider" part which is tripping me up here, because that's a really odd thing to add in and I feel like MZero, Chang, Tidus and Muyo wouldn't have added that in. I would, however, say that I think Death might have the required knowledge? And in addition, if Muyo is scum I think it's unlikely that all of the three you mentioned are town.

I don't mean to diminish Corrik's efforts here. He is the single greatest player I know at being the same as scum and town.

But remember that I already proved he was fake claiming once. And tidus is absolutely right that claiming body guard isn't going to draw a shot. Scum doesn't shoot body guard directly. They hope to avoid it

As for Han, did I read him incorrectly? Yes. I'm sorry, but he was random AF. He made accusations about some people that I didn't think held water, and when it came to voting he went after different people. The guy may as well have been rolling dice to decide his every action.

It's crazy, from my end this started when I tried to justify my defending of Chris. I said I believed what the non-han players were saying and that I didn't like the way Han went after him. At the mere hint I might think he was scum he came after me. After first I told him I didn't want to reexplain why I took my stance so he yells "he's evading, he's scum." So I relent and I tell him and he yells "he's defending himself, he's scum." He tells me he wants me to vote for him if I think he's scum so I do and he yells "look, he voted for me, he's scum." He had no evidence, he just wanted to fuck with me just like he wanted to fuck with chris. I Don't care if he flipped Town, his actions were clearly anti-town.

Why do your own dirty work when you can get others to do it. Getting town to lunch the doc frees them up the shoot the next target.

I'm just curious, had anyone else taken a beat to look at the fact the sheep led the vote against Chris because he was so sure and now he's leading another because again he's sure. How do we know the guy isnt pied pipering these votes?

But, I would have been super tempted to choose BP over doctor anyways. No lies detected there. Lol. That would have been a major game time decision.

And, like I said before, I have an entire game in the past where I never used my Bodyguard ability an entire game because I think it is dumb. It serves no purpose unless a role is critical to be saved.

The main thing I take from that is that Muyo was wayyyyy too unquestioning on whether Chris was scum. He just believed he wasn't and refused to consider otherwise. I think a few others have mentioned this already, but being so certain and correct on something very complex is a bit of a scumtell (and I should know because that is literally my tactic for the first few days of my scum games). I'd have believed it more if there was more real analysis in there.

I can see this perspective for sure though. And the scum theater in this case would actually just be channeling frustration of not being cleared from suspicion because he was "correct" in knowing Chris was town.

Why Tidus over Mzero, Ulti, or even me?

Ulti I read as town when he blew up and got all melodramatic about being accused which is what I believe town ulti would do.
