Today is actually our first all-water day, and we're focusing on pokemon who, at least sometimes, live out of the water. Call them amphibious, semi-aquatic, land-based, whatever you like. Basically this is for most of the remaining water pokes that aren't fish. Ducklett will be in a flying poll.

Voted Chewtle, but Psyduck is a classic I nearly voted for

Oooh, I never feel like I'm a fan of water types and then I see them. Lots of stellar stuff in here. The Gen 1s are solid, except Seel which is the most pitiful excuse for a Pokmon concept (at least the ultra beasts from yesterday tried to be interesting, even if they look abhorrent!). Like, most stuff has a personality or an interesting feature about it or a punny name. This is literally just a seal. And they named it fuckin Seel. Even the translators couldn't notice anything interesting enough in it to give it a real name. Shit Pokmon 1/10 and not 0 because it has the decency to at least not look hideous.

Anyway, my daily hatred for very a specific gen 1 mon aside, everyone knows the top row look adorable. Wooper would steamroll any other poll for me and probably wins this one with everyone else, but Buizel and Floatzel are my favourite line ever. It's a weasel in a goddamn rubber ring. In what universe can I be expected to not love this thing?

Panpour is the least bad monkey by a mile, Chewtle looks ugly but I warmed up to it after using Dreadnaw in a Romhack, and Dewpider is cute! One of the best Gen 7 mon, I'd love an excuse to use it one day. Finally got the water/bug typing that Masquerain deserved, too.

I like Wooper but not as much as its evo.
Voted for Slowpoke for its iconic dopey look and the delicacy that is its tail.
