Ryuji, and its not close

Ryuji is the worst party member in the series so certainly not him.

Say what you want about Ryuji, character-wise, but he's the only one that actually comes off as a true "best friend." Junpei barely does, and Yosuke is waaay too forced.

I'm shocked Ryuji is winning.

Junpei is a top 2 major character in the series while Yosuke and Ryuji are probably both in the bottom 5 or so.

Ryuji was hurt by his inconsistent characterization, similar to Ann. He develops a lot in his social link plotline, but the game pretends that never happened

yosuke felt annoying in a realistic high school kid way, which I think is a good thing

Junpei was a never ending "always wrong dumb guy" joke, even more than the others

They're all fine, although I've just realized it has been a long, long time since I've played persona

Ryuji's design is really nice.

Like most things P4 Yosuke is at the bottom of the 3/4/5 rankings.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of any of them. Yosuke is probably the best character of the three, and I buy the bond between him and the MC more than the others.

It's Junpei but I am pleased to see the Ryuji appreciation. He is definitely a dumbass but not a malicious one. Yosuke is the only person here who isn't a dumbass, but instead he's an utterly self-absorbed jerk.

Yosuke is one of my favorite characters in all of video games and exemplifies the whole point of the game's message, but I have an IRL friend who is extremely Yosuke-esque and who I treasure a ton (and owe my life to besides). I understand why some people wouldn't like him, but he'll always be my bro.

I like Junpei quite a bit, and I wanted to like Ryuji but the P5 cast writing was just kinda borked in general because the bonds between them were super weak compared to the other two. That said, Ryuji's scene at the end of Palace Seven was amazing. He's definitely not a bad character.

Voted Junpei. Hes my favorite of the 3 and though he has his bad moments hes a good character. Yosuke is also great though. Ryuji probably has less bad moments friendship wise, but hes insufferably stupid and not in the hilarious/endearing way Kanji is. I basically wanted somebody to tape his mouth shut or punch him most of the game because he just would not shut up about being bored or nearly blowing the partys cover.

Yosuke > Ryuji > Junpei

I consider all three to be low-tier among their respective groups though.

Yosuke's great. Not super into the other two, though Ryuji's much better in P5S than in P5.

ryuji is annoying and also gay panic but he's pretty good in strikers

Yosuke just bores me mostly, Junpei annoys me mostly

Ryuji can be annoying but I kind of dig it, so definitely the best of the three
